OK, I'm sorry for that pun.

Seeing that Switchback Roadblock was pretty cool. After so many seasons of the show, it's amazing how you forget how tiring that Roadblock was. I mean, you remember Lena/Kristy had a rough time with it, but you forget how much trouble it was for everyone.

It didn't factor too much into this week's elimination, though, because there wasn't one. Gary/Matt were saved by a non-elimination leg.

Ouch.

Pretty rough week for scoring. Sam/Dan were by far the most popular wager and their 4th place finish didn't help scores much. Since they were the unanimous favorite, it didn't really shake the ranks up for most people, however.

Every time I do the Mini-Wagers, I think of what a fun idea it would be, forgetting that I'd have to re-watch the episode to hear the keywords. Here are the results.

I guess I was wrong about that! This week, players may wager on which team they think will be the PAT, or Painfully Average Team. It's the team that finishes right smack in the middle of the pack, or 3rd place overall.

It's a simple right/wrong wager. If your team finishes 3rd, you win the bet. If they don't, you lose it. Players may only bet on one team, and the wager may not exceed 30 points.

Because we're so late into the season playing PAT, it's going to be a very high stakes game.
