Between the CBS blurb about Rob rethinking his alliance, and Matt saying "he's a weenie" here, it looks like Rob and Matt start to dissemble next week.   Top

Just thinking that CBS must be forgetting about PornoBrian already... they're calling Rob the most manipulative Survivor since Dicque -- Brian had just as many (if not more) people in his backpocket as his b!tches. Rob's also losing control to Matthew, something that neither Brian nor Dicque did. VoiceOver: VO: CBS Thursday, not since Richard in the original Survivor, has anyone manipulated the game... Jenna <to Rob>: I don't see how you can lie to all these people! VO: ...like Rob! Matt: The guy's a weenie. VO: Can he be stopped? Jenna <to Rob>: I'll make your life miserable. Rob: Ughhhhhhh. Won't even the most casual viewer at this point expect either a Heidi or Jenna boot? I know the shows seldom live up to the hype, But "a tribal council you won't believe!"? Other than Rob flipping yet again, With Jenna and Heidi surviving, won't viewers be incredibly disappointed? I'm still pretty convinced Heidi goes next, but CO's intel for the first several boots while roughly right, had several errors in it. Even his final 4 is still open to interpretation. In short, while I'm pretty confident of the remaining boot order, I'm not ready to bet the farm on it, and the tagline "a tribal council surprise you won't believe!", has me reconsidering a Heidi boot next.   Top

I don't think the "surprise" has anything to do with the boot. I'm sure there will be high tensions. Maybe it's something similar to Sean's boot in S4. LAST EDITED ON 04-25-03 AT 04:55 PM (EST) Heidi going next was Milkshaky, not Chill. On the other hand, he originally said she would go 5th or 6th and later said she would go on May 1st. Far as I know, he's never specifically said she would go 6th. Edited to Add We just assumed 6th because that was the bootee on May 1st.   Top

Milkshaky has said May 1st for some time now, but I'm unclear on whether the recrap changed this date at all. I was lurking at Sucks and a moderator has bumped the original thread that Milkshaky started about Heidi. He asked "has anyone seen Milkshaky lately?" I'll be looking for an update from him over the next few days. I'm not convinced Heidi's next, though Rob would have to be and I can't see that happening.   Top

Without Milkshaky, I would assume that Rob went next. As BR was arguing all last week, it makes it easier to get to the C1 Final 4 if Rob goes before he reaches the Final 5. Jenna and Heidi might be able to get one last dig in (dead fish biting, anyone?) before they go down, ur, get booted. Also, as was pointed out, the viewing public will be expecting Heidi or Jenna to go next. The only way a boot would be a surprise is if someone else took the plunge.   Top

Rob going out next makes no sense after last week's episode. Yes, it is possible, but a Jenna or Heidi boot is next before the alliance would likely(and I say likely) take out Rob. Rob made a great move, but unfortunately he did not set this move up properly, and will not make it to the F2. Maybe they'll think they are setting us up for a Jenna boot when they really boot Heidi instead. Who knows with these promo writers. They do seem to be setting up for Jenna vs. Rob conflict, like they actually want us to take Jenna's side.   Top

That is just what I was thinking, but was to embarrassed to say so, but now that you bought it up. Why would they show all that footage of Jeff asking if anyone wanted to give away the immunity necklace if no one gave it away this season? So this is the time that it will happen. Heidi will win immunity and at TC she gives it to Jenna. Now from what I have seen Why would Heidi do this? ( I have no idea so you tell me). This is how Heidi goes this week and how Jenna will make it to the F4 & F2.It will be a surprise by the way Heidi has been edited so far.Maybe there is more to Heidi then what we have been lead to believe. Naaa maybe I am dreaming. Or would you believe Rob wins immunity and has a change of heart because of the hard time Jenna is giving him. He sees also that Jenna's mom shows up at one of the challenges and she does not look very good. Sense he is the one that has convinced the others to vote Jenna out this week and without telling them about his change of heart or he changes it on the way to TC. The "misfits" are surprised, and so is everyone else, and they vote Rob out? or go to their backup plan and vote Heidi out? Naaa can't be Rob would not do this. I must be dreaming or out of my mind.Wake up. Wake up. No alliance has stuck together for more them two episodes.   Top

"RE: Ep 11 Web Promo on Fever" What I noticed in these pics, is that Rob appears to be with a woman in the challenge pics who is wearing a cap and has short blond hair. I could be wrong and they are fuzzy and small, but it definately does not look to me like heidi. Perhaps it is a challenge like we have seen in the past where they compete with a loved one, then the winner gets to stay with the loved one.   Top

Let's look at the scenario. Jenna and Heidi know they are screwed. Rob is now questioning his Misfit alliance. A shocking tribal council. Rob's MO has always been bouncing between alliances to further himself and gain an advantage. This ALL adds up to Rob approaching H/J and basically saying hey, yeah I did what I did - you two are screwed but I'll vote with you this week because I don't want the three Misfits gaining the advantage. Let's face it, Heidi and Jenna have NOTHING to lose by this and everything to gain. Going into TC without Rob means a 4-2 vote. With Rob it is at least a 3-3 tie. A shocking TC? To the average viewer a tie vote filled with edge of the seat and the tie hanging on some far out tie breaker makes a "shocking TC" The CBS website this week states: In a SHOCKING tribal council, Alex is voted out. If they promo this as a shocking TC, imagine what a tie vote with all that tension mounting up to it would be described as? This also then makes perfect sense on how Heidi would go and then Rob. The Misfits will naturally assume they are going in four strong. But as Rob is famous at doing (and why stop now) he'll switch alliances and the Misfits will KNOW he did this, you can't hide a tie vote. Heidi loses the tie by whatever the tie breaker happens to be and next week the Misfits are GUNNING for Rob's ass b/c he did exactly what they can't stand. Rob after seeing Matt's stock rise and the apparent closeness the three Misfits have of sorts is pretty much where he was last week, fourth in an alliance of four. Some thinking in his head, do I stick with The Misfits and potentially be booted at four or do I try to break them up. He may even "feel" Matt out about bringing his vote over but Matt won't do it so while it may be a chancy 50/50 shot, A LOT of Rob's actions are indeed chancy. And Jenna and Heidi despite their feelings about Rob would take that opportunity in a New York minute. Someone giving immunity away to me is just a little too unreal to me. Heidi giving it to Jenna say. Yeah they are close but Heidi wants to win this as much as anyone. Jenna may be her friend but at the risk of a million bucks?? I don't believe so.   Top

If Jenna starts ranting about all the lies Rob told, Rob's gonna start realizing he's screwed no matter what. The fact that he clued Matt in somewhat last week won't help him look any more believable to Butch or Christy. Rob might even flip back and vote against Heidi to settle the tiebreaker, if they are faced with a purple rock scenario. That would be the proverbial last nail in his coffin for next week.   Top
