LAST EDITED ON 01-14-13 AT 05:12 PM (EST)This is generally a dead zone for viewership -- movie studios use January as their dump month, and the networks are just catching on to the idea of not following that trend. There isn't that much out there in the genre right now. I've currently got Joe Schmo 3 and Shipping Wars. And until some more seasons premiere, that's about it.
(Did you ever notice that for an entity supposed concerned with arts and entertainment, A&E goes to war more than the History Channel?)
Other shows... I managed to get through fifteen minutes of Honey Boo-Boo before the residual buildup threatened to go terminal.
I can't watch Dance Moms without wanting to kill every adult involved.
Storage Wars is on hold while Joe gets Schmoed.
I'll catch Chopped if nothing else is going against it, but I can't say the same for any other Food Network production.
Double Divas should have been in my territory, but everything felt far too staged: pay no attention to that script being shuffled off-camera.
Survivor and I are officially divorced until they change their casting ways. So in other words, permanently.
For The Bachelor, see above plus I must be permitted to kick Chris Harrison in his testicles for twelve hours, not including meal breaks.
However, I'll probably get back to DWTS now that they've openly admitted their All-Stars season was a horrible mistake.
Idol gets two weeks to convince me it's no longer crap. They will fail.
Biggest Loser will see me return when they drop the unnecessary weight -- one hour and fifteen twists.
Beyond that -- waiting on Phil to hit the starting line and for Gordon, Joe, and Graham to reach the kitchen.
