PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."
Funny about the Maple Leaf Gardens (MLG) toilet (and great name suggestion, though most Leaf fans would be more likely to name it "Harold" or "Ballard".
MLG was a grand old building. One of those old-style hockey arenas. I can't say that I have been to many of those, and didn't go to that one very often either (dad wasn't the sort of get tickets for games). But I did go a couple of times, and the washroom was probably the greatest memory of that. I have spoken to other guys around my age and they have the same memory.
That memory? The trough. The men's washroom had a few stall, but in lieu of individual urinals for doing #1 the washroom just had this long trough. Guys would line up on both sides shoulder to shoulder and pee into the trough. Being a kid in such a place was awful and unbelievabe and something I will never forget.
