Dave said that he first realized that he was in trouble when Roger was voted out. He only then realized that he was out of the loop, because he had relied on ALEX, JENNA, and HEIDI to keep him informed.
When asked whether he realized Rob was so jealous of him, he said that Rob played to his strengths, which was being deceiving and conniving. Unfortunately Dave found out too late to do anything about Rob.
When asked about sleeping with Heidi, Dave said that it was just an effort to stay warm, get a good night's sleep, and that Heidi made a "great pillow". I guess getting those fluffy pillows was a good idea after all.
When asked what he does as a Rocket Scientist, Dave said that he designs and builds spacecraft or space hardware. When asked if he wants to go Hollywood after his Survivor experience, Dave said no because he likes to build stuff that goes into space.
Why did he go on Survivor? For the experience, challenge, and the chance to win $1 million dollars.
When asked if he thought he was voted out because of his strength, he showed humility and wouldn't admit it, but said his strategy was that he just tried to be himself and have a good time.
Regarding Matt: Dave didn't feel threatened by Matt, but that it was kind of a "Heart of Darkness" thing, and that Matt was creeping some people out.
