"RE: VIDCAPS: Average Episode 1 Closing Preview (Part 1 of 2) " Kansas City NBC affiliate KSHB reported on tonight's 10p news that Chiefs offensive Tight-end, Tony Gonzales, would be making an appearance on this coming Monday's episode of AJ, with the idea that he would be providing "training tips" to the Joes. I believe that is him in picture #6, holding the ball. Melana, still affiliated with the Chiefs, does "entertainment announcements" before/during the games at Arrowhead Stadium. They also did a spot on her immediately following the first episode on Monday, where she indicated that she "dates these guys for 6 weeks." Pokey "You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose. But you can't wipe your friends on the couch."   Top

Ya, NBC already confirmed this a couple of weeks ago... from the ep2 release: ×AVERAGE JOESÓ BEGIN TO FALL FOR MELANA AS THE DATES BEGIN; KANSAS CITY CHIEFSÓ TONY GONZALEZ PUTS ×JOESÓ INTO TRAINING-The twelve remaining ×Average JoesÓ receive a visit from Tony Gonzalez of the Kansas City Chiefs to help them get into shape to win MelanaÓs affection. Later, the guys find themselves out on a limb when they go rock climbing and take mud baths on group dates, and one ×JoeÓ gets a special solo date with Melana at Lake Havasu that he will never forget. Meanwhile, rivalries boil over as one ×JoeÓ continues to assert that he does not fit in with the ×averageÓ crew, and another copes with the elimination of his best friend the previous week.
