PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"Team Guido" |
I've read others who say that Team Guido "pushed" past the other teams at the Pantheon after they promised to go in order of when they arrived at the Pantheon...Come on! They did let the laywers enter the Pantheon first, followed by the mean black guy and his seperated wife. After Team Guido entered, they happened to turn right while the other two teams went left (I think...was hard to tell exactly what direction they went in). Was Team Guido also obligated to tell the other two teams where in the Pantheon the Pendulum was (which I think they knew having lived in Paris)? I say no. They fulfilled their promise and entered last. After that, it was anyone's game. I do think, however, that their little attempt to put people on the wrong train after they offered to help was pretty cold, pretty underhanded...sounds like another certain gay reality TV show winner....hmmmmm.... 5. "RE: Team Guido" |
Team Guido actually had a great idea. The stated idea was to help the "underdogs" to the next leg thus beating out Rob/Brennan & Frank/Margarite and thus eliminating one of the two teams they think are the biggest threat. However, while walking to with the "underdogs" to where they THOUGHT the train was, Team Guido realized "no, that's not the right train down there, the train we REALLY want is right here." Team Giudo then got on the right train, and left the "underdogs" headed for the wrong train. Thus team Guido, without any thinking going into it, realized "Hey, if we let the underdogs go ahead and get on the WRONG TRAIN, we can really screw 'em", Completely forgetting that the plan moments before was TO HELP the underdogs, and thus help themselves. In short, team Guido instinctively decided to screw the other teams, rather than help themselves. I probably wouldn't have a problem with team Guido if I thought they were playing "strategically", rather than just screwing people reflexively. Too, I guess they are way to smug for me want them to win.
