When they are down to 8 is usually when they do the paired up obstacle course challenge. It has always been for reward before, they had never given two immunities in the past, but this year you never know. Has the videos from home ever been for immunity, or has that usually been reward as well?   Top

"RE: paired up obstacle course challenge" Well, I do know that the videos from home happens before the obstacle course, because in the videos from home they have their original buffs on, the obstacle course they have the new shiny merge buffs. The more I think about it, the IC might not be teams, it might be like the Outback's Water Balance Challenge (ya know, the only challenge Nick won?)...which was in episode 9, I think...anyways, they paired off and had a mini-tourbament...I think that may be what we have on our hands.   Top

Reward challenge teams look to be Brian/Helen and Penny/Ted at the starting line. If teammates run the course together (ala Frank/Brandon in S3), Jake/Jan is the third team, leaving Ken/Clay as the fourth. The challenge looks pretty physical. Any thoughts on a favorite?   Top

Woo-hoo!! It just made the most sense though. If they don't merge at 10, they will merge at another EVEN #. The orginal tribes started at 8, so why not the merger tribe also. "Just to kill most doubt" Unless MB did some computer editing, this should be enough proof for you folks: Though some could mistake Ted and Helen's buff colors as just clean Chuay Gahn buffs, the fact that Ken, a Sook Jai, is in the buff gives you enough proof that there is a merge.
