Just to digress, I'm glad that the Atlanta Thrashers are looking to move to Winnipeg. An NHL without Winnipeg just seems inherently wrong.
If the move comes to pass, I presume the league will realign. Nashville is the logical choice to move into the Southeast in place of Atlanta; that won't change the fact that two Eastern Time Zone teams are in the West (Columbus and Detroit), but at least it should help Nashville develop some regional rivalries.
