Which basically means you can send your entourage out for beer twice.http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6270467 As a grand total sum of money, it's an impressive amount -- but compared to what the owners are falling back on, it's throw pillow versus firefighter's air cushion. And the fact that they started offering money this early has to make the owners happy. We've seen the post-career bankruptcy figures, know some players live check to check, and that entourage can drink anyone under the table -- but to have people asking for cash this early in the process? I suspect we have funds-poor players out there, and I don't know how long they're going to last before they break. Not everyone can go apply for a job in the MLS, y'know.
