Two things to remember:1. No business is too big to fail.
2. The government will not bail this group out.
I don't think the league is heading for a total self-destruct, but I do feel both sides are entrenched to the point where everyone is willing to throw away a few games just to show how serious they are. My prediction is a lot of smoke, a ton of shouting, some actual flames, and everyone gets a deal done -- but not before turning next year into a fourteen-game season. I'm pretty sure the owners won't try walk-on players this time.
...okay, Davis and Snyder will. But other than that...

I wonder how much Snyder's subs will be ordered to pay him?
