It's not just you. *looks around at all the haters* But I do honestly believe it has mostly to do with editing. I'm not saying I believe he's not cocky. I'm saying I believe he's not always a jerk. As an example (and as a way to post a picture of Lukas), after they showed the house stuff of him asking about bottom three, this is what happened:
