I just listened to an mp3 of Danielle's Tuesday night's performance. It was a magnificent performance. Even better than I originally thought.The judges reaction may have come out of surprise, rather than a careful analysis of Danielle's performance. None of the other 9 contestants could have come close to matching Danielle with "The Locomotion." I can give the web address where all of the mp3s from all performances can be downloaded. I don't know if it would violate the rules of the board to post the address. If it is ok, then I will post it in case anyone wants to listen to any of the songs. Danielle again produced the best performance of the week.

I just downloaded the Locomotion as well as her other songs, and the more I listen to Danielle, the more that I do NOT want to see her get in this group. Her voice is far too unique and beautiful to be constrained to a cookie cutter kiddie group. Danielle White (and Lucy Hale, for that matter) will go far in the music industry, long outlasting the longevity of this group.

Our general consensus with Danielle: Nice but boring. Nothing special where her vocals are concerned. It is apparant however that Lucy and AJ's vocal training stands out!

Danielle and Lucy do deserve to make it in the industry. But those of you who think that they will no doubt make it on their own without this group are naive. Their chances are slim, because so few people make it and there are so many talented people in this country. There are thousands upon thousands of kids and adults out there who are incredibly talented and never make it. It takes more than talent... things like perseverance, attitude, luck, connections, money, image, and timing all come in to play.This may be their only chance to get the connections and money they need to start their future solo careers. Let's give them that chance! And 'American Juniors Reject' won't look great on their resume.
