Ghandia Johnson was born and raised in San Francisco, California, where she attended El Camino High School. She then attended City College in San Francisco before moving to Los Angeles and, subsequently, Nashville, Tennessee. She eventually settled in Colorado, where she attended City College in Denver. Ghandia is currently employed as an accredited legal secretary and owns a beauty salon with her husband, Sly. She previously worked as a receptionist, telemarketer and as a cashier/fry cook. She enjoys long distance running, kickboxing and karate. Her favorite spectator sport is football. She describes herself as hard working, strong, smart, open minded, honest and sincere. She is a fan of Latin music, specifically Cumbia and Merenge rhythms. Her hero is her stepfather, whom she credits with teaching her unconditional love. She hopes to follow his example with her husband's son, Sylvester, Jr. Her perfect day would be on a Caribbean beach with her husband and children. Denver resident Ghandia Johnson is hitting the small screen as a castaway on "Survivor: Thailand."
The reality show's fifth season will premiere Sept. 13 on CBS. Johnson, a 33-year-old legal secretary, lives in northeast Denver with her husband, Sly, and their two children, Samson, 3 and Savion, 1. She was born in San Francisco and moved to Colorado to attend college. On the show, taped in June and July, 16 cast members tough it out on an island in Thailand without any food or luxuries. Each week, the contestants take part in challenges to win food and cooking supplies. Every three days, a player is voted off by fellow castaways. After 39 days, the remaining player - deemed the "survivor" - wins $1 million. When Johnson is not taking a walk on the wild side, she and her husband run Sly's Salon, 1650 Grant St. Sworn to secrecy, Johnson would not comment on how she did on the island. She referred inquiries to the show's public relations office, which did not comment, saying it wants people to think the castaways are still on the island, even though the show is taped.

Whether people wish to believe due to so many situations like this is the past. A poster named GDiva on SS is, in fact, claiming to be the real Ghandiia. Whether it is her or not, the posts sound extremely believable and I would say the majority does believe her.She did not give any spoiling information per se, however, she did say a few things that we could potentially get some information from such as: Okay, now on to your question. I can't really say who I hated most in words, but let's just say that he is follicle-ly challenged the 2nd most hated knows all about preparing food . How's that? " (Clay and Ted?) However, I take my entire experience in stride and though there were some bad times, it was an experience of a lifetime for me to be on my favorite show and being the great Survivor fan that I am (indication IMO she doesn't get very far) The hardest part of doing this thing was not being able to communicate with them AT ALL for 7 weeks. That was agony, especially coupled with the fact that most of the people I was "shacked up" completely and totally got on my last #####'
nerve (her experience there with her tribe was not exactly to her liking - therefore early boot perhaps?) Like I said, take with grain of salt but her posts also mysteriously were deleted and unlike other trouble making posters, this person has not come back since the posts were taken off.

As a long time mostly lurker on both places, I also have to agree that it was her -- there was just too much info revealed and in fact too much "coverup" (including all the deleted postings) for it not to have been her. From what I remember from looking at her profile, she'd posted like over 50 times and some one went and deleted EVERY SINGLE ONE >She did not give any spoiling

We know CBS and the Survivor folks read the oneline sites so I think they got pissed at her and made her delete all her messages. Why else would anyone else do like she did?
