Mumbo Jumbo 270 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Network TV Show Guest Star" 08-19-01, 03:36 PM (EST) "Official Picks Till the End" LAST EDITED ON 08-19-01 AT 09:31 PM (EST) Since the weekly evictions have gotten predictable due to all the information coming out of the live feed summaries, the ten to twenty people actually watching this show have by underwhelming demand asked for this Picks till the end thread. For simplicity sake, it will be a lot like the Survivor PTTE thread. Rules as follows: 1. Post your PTTE in the subject line in single letter by first name format. For example: If you think that the boot order will be Bunky, Monica, Hardy, Nicole, with Will winning. Then your subject line would read: B/M/H/N/W 2. Post only once to this thread. If you miss one, don't repost. Edit the message text and put your new order there. 3. Put any reasoning you used in the message box. We want to know the skill and logic behind your thoughts. 4. Reply to this post. 5. At some point the voting will be over as it will be an unfair advantage to let people vote later in the game. I was thinking all votes should be in before the next HoH is named but apparently the HoH competition will be held on Monday, Aug 20. Odds are for either Nicole or Will to win HOH and Monica getitng the boot. Simply because she has no enemies and will win this thing if she gets in the Final Two. Nicole and Will know this, and will eliminate her. Everyone hates Nicole more than Will now. They are now aware of the H/N alliance which put most of them out. "W / M / B/ H /N" I really have no idea how this is gonna play out, but unfortunately, I think Will will be voted out this week. Nicole is his only (sortof) ally, and since she is not eligible for HOH, I think that as long as Will doesn't win HOH, he will be nominated. (and he hasn't showed much in the past HOH competitions) Hardy still wants Will gone, and so does Monica. I think Bunky would vote to evict Will over any of the rest of them. Nicole will stick with Hardy, or could possibly give Will a vote to force a tie (which I think he would lose) After that, it comes down to who wins HOH. I put Monica next, cause I don't think she will win HOH, ever. Hardy and Nicole will stick together and eliminate Bunky in third position. Leaving a Hardy/Nicole final. It really could go either way, but I see- Sherri, Autumn, Shannon, Kent, Mike, Will, and Bunky voting for Nicole to win. Krista and Monica for Hardy. However, depending on how things go from here, it could all change completely.   Top

He's the threat. Otherwise Monica. Nicole votes Bunky; Monica votes Will. Hardy evicts Bunky. Nicole, Monica, and Will play for HOH. Nicole wins: nominates Will and Monica. Hardy votes out Monica. Will wins: nominates Hardy and Nichole. Monica votes out Hardy, as she decides he is the biggest ass and must fall--even though she wants revenge on NicHole. Monica unlike to win HOH. If Will wins HOH, things get interesting. Monica and HardyorNicHole compete for last HOH. Hardy or NicHole win, evict Monica to go against jury with Will. Nicole wins: Mike, Shannon, Will, Bunky, Shari, maybe Kent and Autumn, but she already has 5. Hardy: Krista and Monica. I REALLY hope they evict Bunky and someone takes Will to the Final 2 so I'll pick my alternates that way.   Top

Since I have been bad at picks going on intuition, I am going straight logic and statistics this time around. First round of voting (who is against whom): HoH Hardy or HoH Bunky:Will is both nominated and evicted (per feeds) HoH Monica: Nicole is nominated but does not get evicted; that leaves Will as the other nominee, probably going again HoH Will: Nominates Hardy against someone (Nicole, maybe Monica); either Hardy or Monica leaves; only scenario where Will stays I hate to say this as I would like Will to stay around for awhile but it's unlikely. After Will exits, it leaves Hardy and Nicole probably running HoH to the end since neither Bunky or Monica seem to have much ability in this area (I think today w/bunky was a bit of a fluke). Therefore, they pick off Monica first then Bunky and either Hardy or Nicole as HoH picks the other to the end. The final would be close, five to four, Nicole getting Chilltown, Kent and Bunky with the remainder probably voting for Hardy although I'm very iffy about Autumn. Hope I'm wrong for Tv viewing sake, plus Nicole is getting on my nerves with her PMSing and whining about being a newlywed and wanting to talk to her husband. You knew about the isolation and lack of communication before applied for this damn show. Shut up. Plus who deserves $500,000 for cleaning up after people. If that's true, Hardy boy,win the dough and give it to your grandma who cleaned up after you for ten years before you went on this stinking show.   Top

So I am going the opposite direction and guessing wildly. Guessing that either Will or Nicole winning HoH will keep the other in the final two. I doubt Will can beat Nicole in the final two, but I'm going with him anyway cause Nic is such a head case.   Top

"W / M / N / H/ B" whether Bunky or Hardy gets HOH, Will should get the boot this week.. next week, I think Monica goes regardless. She isn't a HOH threat unless it's a riddle competition. I think in a head-to-head with any of these 3, she goes. I think Hardy and Bunky might get rid of Nicole the next week. Both see her as a stronger threat to win - and both have shown (through taking the money and forcing their housemates to eat PB&J), that their ethics come and go. How many people has Hardy "vowed" not to betray and then turned on - he's a hypocrite making value judgement to ease his conscious. And Bunky offed Kent and Krista to save his ass. He'll do the same thing to Nicole. Nicole's mama act is wearing thin and at the end, cooking and cleaning don't matter (AK's Survivor observations pointed that out to me). Besides. they have both seemed really intent on taking the money as of late. This could all be wishful thinking on my part. Final two Hardy and Bunky My gut guess is Bunky pulls it out although loyalties in this show are hard to understand. I think Kent, Shannon, Autumn, Monica are locks for him. And Sheri and Krista voting for him wouldn't surprise me. Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if Mike and Will voted for him too. He doesn't deserve it, but it could happen. Of course, I thought Varner was gonna win S2. Hardy's only lock in the voting against Bunky would be Nicole. Too many variables to pick him against Bunky.Bottom line, Hardy has nominated and dominated an awful lot of people in this game - it'll come back to haunt him.   Top

"Round two: H/M/N/W" Will will vote Hardly off, because Hardly is the biggest threat to Will's HoH next week... also, Hardly is more likely to beat Will in the finals than Nic-Ho is. Then, with either a Will or a Nicole HoH, Monica will be booted... despite the fact that Nicole is pissed at Will, she's in it to win the game, and she knows she has better chances against Will. Will has proven over and over that he will do anything to win, and he knows that Monica is a much bigger threat... thus he will vote her out. Monica has a near-zero chance of winning HoH next week (since her only win was this week... when Will GAVE her the win). Thus, Monica will be the next to go. Finally, in the jury vote, it will come down to who is better liked. I think that Nicole has burned many of her bridges, while Will has only burned a few... also, I'm sure that everyone that was voted out early on has been watching the same episodes that all of us have watched, and I would suspect that Will has grown on them as much as he's grown on all of us. Thus, I predict that Will will beat Nicole in the jury vote, although the vote may be very close. Go Evil Doctor!!! You never know what might be up my sleeeve...   Top

"M/B/H/N/W" Okay I know I'm a day late but here it is and since I’m so late I going out on a limb for my predictions This week: Hardbody nominates Will and Monica. Will because he is the last remaining member of CT. Monica because he will be influenced by NicHole who is worried about the retribution from nominating Monica and Krista. NicHole and Fuzzy Wuzzy will vote for Will, against Mon, because everyone believes that can beat him in the final. I think everyone will try to keep will around until then end always nominating him but getting the voting housemates to cast out whoever he is up against. If they truly believe this, and I think they do, who ever takes Will into the final two will lose. Next Week: NicHole wins head of household. Nominates Will and Bunky. HardBody, the only voter, kicks off Fuzzy Wuzzy. Week after Next: Will finally wins HOH (I told you I was going out on a limb): Will chooses NicHole for two reasons. 1) He is not confident he can beat Hardy one on one. 2) He likes NicHole better and wants her to get some money. NicHole and Will in the finals: Sheryl: Will be pissed at NicHole for not keeping her promise to get CT. Autumn: NicHole – Hates all Chill Towners Shannon: Will - duh Kent: Will – Maybe NicHole but I think her link to HardBody will hurt her. Mike: Will Krista: Will Monica: Will HardBody: NicHole Bunky: NicHole In the above scenario you have a 6-3 for Will assuming Kent is pissed at HardBody holds a grudge against NicHole for her ties with him. I think Will looks good in a final 2 against Nicole or Hardy. The two of them don't realize how many people they have pissed off. It would be best for both of them to get rid of him now but I don't know that they'll see it. Will's evil antics were at the beginning of the game - people forget - especially in light of how N & H have acted lately. This also gives Will a chance to make good his threat to get revenge for the boot of his girlfriend and keep on the good side of the Chilltown folks. Monica won't win HoH again (unless tailored to sitting around and doing nothing again). Both Nicole and Will want to win, so if either wins HoH they won't want to be put up against Monica, who would win easily against either one of them.
