"AMERICAN JUNIORS RESULTS SHOW" |
You know, i know you have to go easy on them because they're kids and all but i gotta say halfway thru this show, the fact that the Top 3 are AJ, Tori & Chauncey is literally making me sick. Do people even vote for TALENT? Jesus....And then on top of that, did you see that ridiculously embarrasing Taylor music video "Cheeseburgers For Me"? Ugh.....Dont be surprised if this show doesnt come back next Summer. That was just plain retarded. Well, either way, no matter which one of the top3 advance, its a crappy choice. Yeah, Tori.....maybe...she's the best of THOSE 3, for sure, but still...to leave Chantel, Lucy & FRIGGIN DANIELLE sitting on the couch...I honestly think because our country has the stupidest president in the hostory of the world , it rubs off on people. There can be no other answer. I actually dread to see who "wins" tonight. Highly, highly disappointing.

Okay, wow... I thought tonight's show was absolutely horrible. The group number was just a huge hoard of kids up on stage who can't dance to save themselves... and as for the singing, it was equally as drear, which is a bit surprising considering they lip synched it. The cheeseburger commercial thing... actually, I thought it was quite hilarious, especially when the freaky cheeseburger ate Taylor at the end. It's such a tragedy that Danielle isn't getting into the final three... but I think she'll win out in the end when she's not attached to the sinking ship that is American Juniors... save your careers while you can, kids!!

I hear ya Rikker Mortis......Danielle definitely deserves to be in the group more than anyone....her voice is so amazing, her stage presence is mesmorizing, and she's consistently good....I hate the fact that America will vote based upon one performance (as in the case with Chauncey)....he had one good peformance!!....he's not consistent!!....DANIELLE ALL THE WAY

Chauncey, AJ and Tori? What kind of crack are the viewers smoking, and where can I get some for myself? No sign of Lucy, Danielle and Chantel in the top 3? This show gets more and more lame every week. How can it be that the judges and the brilliant folks who post on this board agree that Lucy and Danielle are two of the best (if not THE two best), but the voters ignore them like moldy cheese? ARE THE VOTERS WATCHING THE SAME SHOW I AM?

a Group is being formed not a solo singer. I think that makes a difference. I know that I would not vote for Lucy cause she deserves a solo career not a group one. Solo singers are necessary for groups too... every song won't just be all five kids singing together, they will have SOLOS within each song. Part of the reason a group like N'SYNC was so popular was because of a soloist like Justin Timberlake. He had SOLOS in most of their songs. In fact, the group would be better if all 5 of the kids could be a solo artist and a group artist.I just don't think Chauncey's voice is strong enough to do any solos in the group. He can't just sing backup the whole time! Tori and Taylor aren't strong enough to carry the group vocally either... Taylor's voice was wimpy and dull in that lame commercial... the group needs SOLOISTS TOO! Remember, distinctive singers like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera performed in groups as kids (as part of the new Mickey Mouse Club) as did Alanis Morisette (on a Canadian kids show). Later, they used their experiences, contacts, and earnings to help start sucessful solo careers. Also, to hope Lucy (and Danielle) fail to get in the group so that they can have solo careers is just plain unfair to them. Being in this group could jump-start their solo career. Without this group, they could easily fall to the wayside like the thousands of super-talented singers who never make it in this business. Lucy is great, and deserves a solo career... which she may never get... but the publicity of being in a kids group like this one may just be the spark that ignites her future career.

But since American Idol never releases any of the vote counts, do you REALLY believe who they put up there to truly be the top 3? You watch. The final 5 will be The Thompson Girls, AJ (which i think stands for Absolute Joke...that could stand for both the kid AND the show, actually), Chauncey & if there is even a slightest bit of redemption in this show, Chantel. But you know what? I bet they put Morgan in instead. And then what are you left with as the losers? Chantel, Danielle, Taylor, KAtelyn & Lucy who would be a HELLUVA lot more successful then that other group.

6. "RE: AMERICAN JUNIORS RESULTS SHOW" |
I too can attest that I do not agree with the Top 3 choices (but then again, I was the one raving about Jordan McCoy...)I think, for psychological reasons, it's good Tori made the group, but that doesn't make for a good reason to select her. Man the Thompson family has to be going nuts. Chantel, Lucy, and Danielle are the most talented ones in that group, but I think America is taking into note, "the group". I've said in the past, maybe mediocre singers, but stage personality can make for just as a good a group. I thinkt he charisma and personality a group can exude, goes hand-in-hand with an enjoyable group. But that could just be me. I do agree a group should have vocal talent, and it would still be good with the three girl in, but maybe it could work with kids like the Thompsons. But again, we'll see next week... I don't mine as long as the boys don't make it! LoL.

I was thinking about this this morning. See as how basically its a majority of pre-pubescent girls voting (dont believe me? check out the fan sites. "ooh aj. i love you aj. youre the best aj." Yack. Gag me please.) i wouldnt be surprised if the 5 in the group end up being Tori, Taylor, AJ, Chauncey & Chantel....now think about this...As far as this being a GROUP effort...think about the bottom 5. IT would be Lucy, Danielle, Morgan, Taylor & Katelyn. Now, which group of 5 are YOU more likely to listen to if they both came out with albums. Scary, huh? The problem is people voting over gets them all tingly inside as opposed to who actually has the talent. No matter what happens, Chantel, Danielle & Lucy are the stars of the show and long may they shine. no matter what the Pimple Crowd thinks of them.

The American Public are dumber than I thought. We all knew Tori would make it, but AJ and Chauncey? Please; Danielle, Lucy and Chantel are all better than either of them. Also that Burger King skit really annoyed me, How bogus to have a blatant commercial in the middle of the show? Plus, it was at a 5 year old intelligence level. The group is starting to look like Taylor, Tori, AJ, Chauncey and whoever and I think that is ridiculous.

You know what else i think? I think AJ is playing unfair in the contest itself. I mean think about it. They are doing everything they can do to get that no talent AJ into the band. Why else would he and ONLY he get "swooners" planted in the audience to make him look all "dreamy"? Dont think they were plants? What, you think the camera just *happened* to be positioned right behind those girls seconds before that pandering twit went over to them? And then to have Ryan call them up on stage to give AJ a hug afterwards? This is blatantly crooked and no one can or will convince me otherwise. People thought AI 1 and AI2 were crooked as to explain how Justin beat out Tamyra or how Trenyce (screw that, her name is Lashundra...call me when you actually have some talent, you horrible praying mantis lookalike and then we'll talk about using a stage name) & Carmen lasted so far and they may have been right, but AJ as in AMerican Juniors, is CLEARLY playing favorites. And again in regards to that idiotic cheeseburgers song, i kept waiting for Elmo to pop up and say "elmo loves Taylor. Vote for AJ. hee hee hee hee". Horrible.

Tori and taylor are both great singers i dont know what you're thinkin....maybe you're a crackhead just like all of the other people who think that taylor and tori havent earned their spots on american juniors...they have worked so hard for most of their lives and they dont need ignorant people like you who probably knows nothing about the business stating your opinion about how you think they sing like "crackheads" or whatever the hell you think but i love those two girls to death...they are so sweet and if they had any clue that you said that it would tear them up so maybe before you judge people who you've only seen sing what...maybe 2 or 3 times...you should think about what you're saying about 9 and 11 year old little girls...

wow, Rikker Mortis, i think you are taking it a little to hard about the results!! yeah i think danielle is the best one there and has been my favorite from day 1. she has that "plain but perfect" voice. all she really needs is that extra "push" to make the crowd love her. i also knew from day 1 that the thompson sisters were going to make it into the group. they have that star qualiy that danielle lacks. she has the voice but is missing that final touch. but seriously...chill out!!

LAST EDITED ON 07-21-03 AT 08:53 PM (EST) The next epsiode should be better than ever because there are 8 kiddos left and only 3 more spots! Taylor and Tori are no longer in the race and now we've got to power vote the best kids left. Taylor and Tori can sing on key and have serious commercial appeal but now we need to vote just on talent; not for A.J.'s smile or our favorite song choice, (Chauncey had a good song last time). I think the next three to get in should be Lucy, Danielle, and Morgan. Lucy-strong,clear vocals, and stage presence. Danielle-beautiful voice and steadiness. Morgan-energetic and at home onstage; overdoes it a bit on the vocals but, I hear sooooooo much potential. Who do you think should be the next 3 in? Nikki

Just because he really gives his all into a performance doesn't mean that he is gay. AJ and Chauncey are stiffer than he is. Some grown-up male groups from the 70's and 80's wore makeup and they were straight. Morgan is just a little kiddo so gay comments are rude!

nowhere in ANY of my posts will you ever see me accuse any of them of being gay. but anyone who doesnt see the showboat flair of this kid is blind. P.S. "giving his all in a performance"? no, its caled being an arrogant little ham. but then again, not as bad as AJ with his horny little audience plants who for some reason actually LIKE this tool (or at least like him while the American Juniors cameras are on and the American Juniors producers pay them to like him). say what you will about chauncey, but at least he APPEARS to be a nice kid without a boatload of pretension which is a heck of a lot more than you can say for the other two.
