Supposedly they had a mentor lined up who dropped out right before they were to announce the theme for this week. So they selected Disco as the theme and called up these performers, who had to scramble to get ready to look as good as possible in front of 30 million people or so on a last minute notice. I know how long it takes me to find a dress for a wedding...I can't imagine picking out a dress to make me look good in around a week if I were in my 60's, lol! I think KC still performs fairly regularly but I don't know about Freda or Thelma.   Top

"RE: Results 3" why on earth, (as a parting shot), do they make them sing the very song that got them in trouble the night before? I've been saying that for 8 seasons now. For me, it's like "Okay, I really svcked and America voted me out. Now, here's a reminder of how much I svck." Season 1 was the absolute worst for svcky losers (with the exception of Kelly & Tamyra). If any of those singers auditioned now, they probably wouldn't even make it to the Hollywood round. At least the swan songs of Season 8 don't make my ears bleed nearly as much.   Top

Surely they would have - they had nothing to lose by using it on it's last time. So I wonder if the judges have considered whether they prefer to have Matt or Lil in the final 5 - 6. If Matt had been let go, and Lil really was the bottom vote getter this week, Anoop would still be there too. You know Lil & Anoop have to be thinking "what if"   Top
