That last note seemed off. Not bad, but pretty much a copycat thing.Randy. Got the party started, it sounded so wild, you definitely can sing, but didn't show us what you can do and what kind of artist. Didn't show the vocal control. Kara. We have been waiting for you to sing an artist like that and it wasn't worth the wait. You have been every other woman but yourself. But you look great. Paula. She was on complete vocal rest yesterday. You didn't hit the boiling point, but a good recovery. Simon. You look so sad. She says she had fun tonight. So impressed to take a Donna Summer 4 on the floor, it could go on your record. Paula. It has a classy Santana feel. There aren't many men willing to shop in the women's department, and you found a perfect fit. Showed why you are a contender. Simon. I actually need a translator. That was a complete polar opposite to the first performance. Well thought out, not karaoke. I don't care if you like ladies underwear or not that was terrific. Randy. Forget the grade school kids. You know who you are and you are ready for the big time. Amazing.

one line in and I hate it already.Has the back up singers on the stage. Randy. When I heard this was your song choice I was worried. Doesn't have a big melodic range. Turned it into something that worked for you. You worked it out. Kara. I was kinda worried about Disco night. You are an incredible vocalist your pitch is so right on always (really) you never have an issue. Another solid performance. Paula. What I love about your voice you always take it one note higher, you showed your agility and brilliance, you have one of the sexy voices ever. *BARF* Simon. As a performance I didn't get any kind of star power from that. Because at this stage you need something special. It was awkward and clumsy. (Paula has meltdown)

Two things. Whereas I didn't love the arrangement, indulgent. You are one of the best singers. You always prove my point. You can really sing. Kara. Got to agree with the arrangement. You picked the right song. One of the best singers. That was like a 9-10 for the vocals. Paula. The word compromise doesn't belong in your vocabulary. You hit it off the charts with the last note. Simon. I don't think this has to go with slow or fast. You always come into this week as an underdog. Taking everything into account that was a brilliant performance.

Stays slow the whole time. Randy. So Dawg. One of things is that you should show us your range. You are ready right now. You have it majorly going on. Kara. You are brilliant. Every week you up it for me. The most memorable performance. The emotion and the way you connected. It is inspiring. Paula. I've never questioned my visceral response when you perform. You pick a disco song and not make it cliche and up tempo. Like you tore your heart out and left it on the stage. You will be in the finals. Simon. I would have put $10,000 you would have done Donna Summer. It was original, and most importantly people will remember it and the vocals were immaculate.

Background singers back on the stage.Was that the thing on his forehead squeaking out the falsetto. Don't we already have a Timberlake to do that to songs like this? Randy. Bad stuff first. Didn't love the song choice or arrangement. You can really sing dude. This bunch is the most talented seven we've had. Kara. You brought Disco back. You took the mood back to disco. I'd like to see you move. The vocals were pretty good. Not crazy original, but a good performance. Paula. You pick songs like I bowl. This was a strike. You saved your own life you are staying. Simon. I have to put a damper on this. I think you gotta get yourself out of idol land. That came over as desperate in the real world. I didn't hear any originality so I'm not such a huge fan of that I'm afraid.

Another slow start.
Mid tempo in the middle.Randy. Bad on the last note. Dude you can sing also. This top seven so talented. He hit that note and that note. Nice. Kara. Great song choice. It sounded like ti could be on the radio the last two weeks best performances. Paula. The look the growth you look fantastic. Real men know how to wear pink. No one can deny how beautiful your vocals are. I saw you enjoy yourself up tempo. Smile more. Simon. Completely disagree. That was mediocre at best. I prayed that the tempo wasn't going to come in. A horrible version. That was your worst performance by a mile.

I really believe they invented this save because they weren't sure how people would react to Adam. They're pretty sure they won't have to use it on him so they had to use it when it was most convenient. I don't fault them for using it last week on Matt. But I will laugh out loud if Allison goes home tonight.
