Some country is actually pretty good and I'm pretty selective about what I'll listen to, which excludes country radio. Having said that, I'm a hard core electric blues afficiando, a genre which has worked its way into both rock and country.   Top

It has its own roots in Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English traditional music. ETA: I now see where blues was also mentioned, so nevermind.   Top

Used in Seasons 1,2 and 3. They just didn't have as many semi-finalists so a few more made it to the finals from the semis. The wild card doesn't have to be paired with the Judges Save thing which is all new this year. That save thing was done for French Idol, but they used it the very first week.   Top

I don't have a problem with that. If you want it, show us that you want it. It makes the sing-out a little more meaningful, anyway. My DVR used to always (mercifully) cut off the sing-out.   Top

While I can appreciate their voices I don't think we'll get a "It's All Wrong But It's All Right" type of song out of any of them.
