Dennis and Lil Rounds in the first group. Lil Rounds belts out I will always love you. Paula and Kara stand. They are getting judges comments for this. Dennis Brigham. For once in my life, very odd. Simon says insane facial expressions. After each group, an in line and an out line, and out goes home right away. Asia, Alexander, Lil step forward. They are through to the next round.   Top

If she gets to the vote stage, I expect America will keep her around whether she's good or not. Hopefully she is good enough and makes it based on that. Sometimes I think the judges try to eliminate "forest fire" contestants. I'll bet if they knew now what they didn't know then that Sanjaya would not have made it to the vote stage!   Top

They say he nailed it and one of the hardest Stevie songs. Jorge who is being attacked by a large scarf. Von Smith. You know he looks like he can unhinge his jaw and swallow the competition whole. Simon thinks it was indulgent nonsense. Like something a child would do. Stephen, Jorge, Von and a couple of others step back and they all make it through. Lots of nerves. So many wrong song choices. Nick Mitchell (Norman character) giving up Norman set up, but then maybe not. Randy says he is funny, but he actually can sing. Simon says either he is boring or a joke. Paula tells him to strip, no the song, not the clothes. Nick gets through. Looks like Blind Guy and new Mom get through too.   Top

I laughed so hard I cried when we first saw him in NY. Last night, I was surprised to hear that he actually has a pretty good voice but I don't think he'll make it all the way. Jackie Tohn(window fall down girl). Does a rocky growly thing. They seem to like her. She makes it through with several others. Lots of friends shots, but some will be short lived as many head home. Danny and Jamar. Widow boy and his friend. Jamar sings first. California Dreaming. *ouch* Randy is a fan. Danny Gokey. Kiss from a rose by Seal. Do not like the tone of that bit. Paula loves it and he is ready to record records. They are both through. Some of the day two judges comments for the good ones.   Top

Did well in boot camp, then switches song at the last moment, with no rehearsal. The song was disappointing to the judges. Alex, David Osmond, Emily all step forward. Front row is through. Erika is the only one in the group sent home. She fights for another chance. Simon and Paula start fighting. It is her cousin's birthday poor thing. Alexis Grace and some others Adam Lambert included all get to go through. 104 are still in the competition.   Top
