I just watched all of the contestants' exclusive video clips on cbs.com (not the audition clips). They are all talking of their strategy or what they hope to get from the game. Rob is the only one to say that he is going to win. He says "without a doubt I will win this game. And, if I don't, it will be my own fault." Tammy is the only other contestant to talk about winning--everyone else talks about having fun, getting along, etc. She says that she "will do whatever it takes to win the game". And, that her strategy is to be a team player and then win the individual challenges so she can't be kicked off.

remember though, anytime someone says they're going to win (with the exception of Rich in S1) they don't win.

But might it be time to revive the old-sure fire formula that made this show what it is? Rob is looking more and more like the crass reincarnation of Dique. I think he is perhaps fighting a losing battle, but love him or hate him, Rob is central to this edition. With that kind of determination, he just might pull it out.
