Silly_Sam 12 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Got Milk? Spokesperson" 03-26-08, 03:52 PM (EST) "I am having a hard time getting excited about AI this season " I have watched this show since the beginning of season two. I don’t know if I just tired of the show or is it really boring this year. I have the show tuned in on the cable but I am tuned out. The singers are ok. I like them all but the show is just sort of there and I really don’t care who wins. Anybody else? It seems that ratings are still up. Maybe it is just me.   Top

"RE: I am having a hard time getting excited about AI this season " I think I understand your point of view. Normally at this time in the season, I a contestant or two that I'm really pulling for. This year, while I think everyone is a good singer(some even outstanding aka Mr. Cook ) I just can't seem to get too excited either. Maybe it's time to take a season off. I had to do that with Survivor all last year, now I'm enjoying it again like I used to. Of course maybe my taste in music is really starting to suck   Top

I think this season is great, because there are so many different styles of singers. Syesha and Ramiele are the stereotypical AI diva-types, and Kristy is falling into the Carrie/Pickle "country" type. But the others span styles that we haven't seen much of before. And they're all REALLY good.   Top

Zap2It has this weeks competition show falling 11% in viewers from last weeks competition show. It's still #1 but just barely and the trend is not good.   Top

This season is far more interesting for me than last season. Without Chris Richardson's (often too well concealed) arm porn and Blake's refreshing individuality, last season would have been a complete snoozefest (for me). I have a feeling that, although Jordin has her fans, we, the ones who thought last season was the worst or among the worst, are in the majority. I think they got that memo and I think that's why this year's contestants are so diversified. There are so many different flavors (and a few really yummy ones to boot) this season and I'm interested to see how it plays out. I have no idea who will win this and that makes it interesting (for me). another JSlice masterpiece   Top

Yes, i didn't like the outcome of last season, but there is nothing i could do about it. There was some great talent last year, as there is every year. "RE: I am having a hard time getting excited about AI this season " I've had a hard time getting into this season too. For me it's because there wasn't a Chris Daughtry or Blake that I fell in love with right off the bat or someone like Gina where I voted a ton for her even though I knew she wasn't finalist material, but I wanted her to stay in as long as possible. I still don't have a real favorite and I haven't voted at all, but I do look forward to Brooke and David Cook singing the most. Most of the singers are growing on me (except for David A., he is getting on my nerves big time). I'm more interested now than I was a month ago and that'll probably continue.   Top
