Snidget 44369 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 03-19-08, 08:06 AM (EST) "Should Go/Will Go Top 11" Beatles repeat week was not kind to the idols. Who is your bottom three and who should go and who will go this week? Should Go: All of them but David Cook. Not an option, OK David A- just go away already Kristy- only thing worse than bombing is playing it safe Chikezie- once when it works is cool, repeating it is a gimmick. Going Home Kristy Will Go Ramiele Kristy Chikezie Kristy going home, the sparkles will not save her.   Top

"RE: Should Go/Will Go Top 11" I guess I will be different in actually hoping that Kristy doesn't go home. She wasn't good, but neither were several others. This is far from her genre, and maybe if she gets a chance to do a real country song she can be better. I would send Ramiele home. I can't think where she would be interesting to watch/listen. Then again, maybe it is just the sparkles talking.   Top

Her voice was wavering all through that song-can't even remember what she sang at this point. Talk about unremarkable! I agree that Kristy should be given a chance to sing something other than Beatles and older songs. She really DOES have a voice, but all they've done so far are oldies, so WHAT THE HECK?? Cheezy just doesn't seem to be getting it. And all in all, last night was pretty much a bomb, as Simon said-maybe because they did the same genre 2 weeks in a row, who knows, but it was BAD!! "RE: Should Go/Will Go Top 11" Yep, if she'd been great during the semi-finals I'd be more forgiving of not being able to sing The Beatles well. Just if you were blah before the finals you can't wait around to show you've really got something going vocally. One advantage to doing really well during the semi's is that it gives you a bit of a cushion if you hit that one genre you can't do well. Week after week of maybe you weren't the worst one there really doesn't give you much a fan base if you have a stumble.   Top
