When I was 12 I liked the super cute boys and I don't think he qualifies as super cute, and this is completely disregarding the talent element, which is neither here nor there when determining whether I would like him (as my 12 year old self).

Just in the intro, he got a lot of screams. A Lot. More than anyone else, if we go by my personal applause-o-meter (which I admit, is not very scientific.) Granted, if he's the vaunted Pimped One, then perhaps the Idol audience is filled with people who have have been selected because they will scream for him, but, still.I wouldn't have liked him when I was 12, either. I've been thinking about what it is that I don't like about him and I think it's just that I don't find him very genuine. It's too bad if he is, in fact, that wide-eyed and enthusiastic, because it comes across as over-the-top cheesy.

It wasn't one of your best performances. Not the best song choice. Not the right song, you've got that big old voice, let your voice do its thing, not one of your good ones. Paula. Caught the Dress and you were phenomenal, you have monitors in your ears. Lose the audience It is a balance and a big stage. Simon wouldn't understand. Simon. the long and short is it was a mess. You didn't hit the right notes it is a very complicated song that doesn't work in a minute and a half, you have to nail the song.

starts sitting on the stairs.Acoustic accompaniment. She made her dress out of Julianne's Mellow Yellow dress from last night. Goes to mid stage and dances a bit to the song. I like her lower register in that part, and that usually is what people screw up. Randy. That was awkward for me, even when you came over and wooed. It slipped out. You were never really connected to the song. It was not hot for me. Paula. You can't help but smile when listening to you sing. I love the yellow. You have really good low tone to your voice and a different color other than yellow. Could have been a little more challenging and not played it as safe. Simon. I just knew that you'd be dress in yellow and the lighting would be yellow. I thought the performance was horrible, from the dancing to the lack of conviction, it was wet and forgettable. It is all about Song Choice.

1. I don't like her at all.2. It was decent. Not great but not bad. 3. I really want to wash her arm. It makes her look heavy and she is not. 4. I think she is big old phony. She has a good voice yet is all over the place. No genre feels like she really loves it. She, to me seems to just want to win. Which is not bad yet I don't feel like she is I don't know what? Connect with the audience? Seems silly cause I think that is what the judges say. 5. She really does think she is all that and she really is not.

Paula, distinct charm about you. I feel like you get a little disconnected when you are away from your guitar. More polka than intimate, awkward. Gotta work on that. Simon, very weird show, not a great idea, it is getting a bit strange. This is a TV show, not a radio show. Your face sold that. You have you are charming and not obnoxious and a goofiness that makes it work. If I listened on the radio it would be off.

Speed up half way through with the harmonica. Back to that bluegrassy thang.Randy. There were some good parts and bad parts. Liked it when you went to the fast part. Need the uptempo stuff, could be a good country song. Paula. I think he is showing who you are and the depth and scope of your vocals. Showed two sides of you and I love it. Randy adds you go bluegrass. Simon. Started off OK, then you played the harmonica which was atrocious. Then it turns into achy breaky heart at the end. all this nonsense oh it was a lot of different artists, not as good as last week. It was gimmicky.

Is it possible to sing an uptempo song like it was a slow ballad? I think she might have just done that.On pitch and pretty good, but a bit of a disconnect. Randy. You showed that confidence and a happy go lucky it was alright. Paula. Better than last week. There is something about your voice when you sing ballads that lets you show your range. I want to see you get back to the Dusty Springfield. Simon. Sounded like Chikezie was on harmonica. I like you, you are lots of fun, the track sounded amateurish you are in the same boat and chose a mediocre song that didn't show off your ability.
