A&E Mondays 6 & 6:30 pm PTOK, so the producers took the idea of "Six Feet Under" and made it into a real family of morticians. But this isn't your run of the mill family (surprise!). The father/hearse driver does nothing but b**tch and moan, takes his sweat old time picking up bodies, cuts out of work for a sun bath, etc.
The first episode featured a stop-smoking contest among the employees, and showed all of them cheating early on.
The boss (not a family member) has the hots for the secretary (younger sister), the enbalmer (middle sister) is the enabler, etc.
But the show really is moving -- showing in fairly close detail the details of preparing bodies, talking with family members, and their own daily emotional roller coaster ride.
It's on right before AIRLINE, another great break and a real window on why not to fly Southwest.
