memzoo48 347 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Cooking Show Host" 05-25-07, 10:44 PM (EST) "Finalists on Larry King tonight" I didn't catch the whole show -- will catch the replay at midnight. But from the parts I did see, they all seemed very ill at ease in the talk show format. Jordin was nearly incomprehensible, not the "poised" young woman you'd expect based on the pimpage. They were all really quiet. It was a bit bizarre. They all denied that any of the top 40 dated each other. Maybe Larry King asked the wrong question. Should have asked if anyone hooked up.   Top

I did see the beginning though, and Jordin was more coherent than I originally thought. Lots of "like" and "you know," typical teen talk. I've been feeling incredibly snarky toward her ever since Melinda got booted off. A common theme in the show was that they all think Idol is their path to a music career, regardless of who won the contest. Pretty much the way most fans feel, I'd guess. Poor Hayley -- Larry King called her "Gina." Gina said, "uh, I'm Gina." Hayley joked that on the show, no one knew her name either. Larry asked Chris why he entered, and Chris just sort of looked at Phil. Larry said he'd get back to him later, then asked Phil why he "entered." Phil asked, "Why did I WHAT?" "Enter. Enter." I don't think Chris had understood the question. Most people don't ask why you entered, they ask why you auditioned. Phil said he auditioned because he missed a friend's wedding and the friend said the only way he could make amends was to audition for AI. Chris said he'd auditioned for the previous two years and hadn't made it pass the initial round. If I remember any more I'll post it.   Top
