JRome 77 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Hollywood Squares Square" 04-19-04, 11:49 AM (EST) "Band of Brothers" Has anyone been watching Band of Brothers on the history channel? What a great series its great that it was on again. Anyone else have a favorite episode? Bastogne and Why we Fight are two of my favorites.   Top

I dont know the name of the episode, but the one where they head to the Ardenne for the Battle of the Bulge always gets me. You know, the part where they start taking all the ammo and stuff from the beat-to-hell guys leaving the battle. The amount of fortitude those men had leaves me speechless. "RE: Band of Brothers" When it was on HBO hubby and I ordered HBO just for that reason. We did not miss one Sunday night episode. We were so moved by the whole series. We have not got but 2-3 episodes this time around. I told hubby that would be great to own on DVD. The interviews with the real soilders is incredible. I agree Bea, the fortitude of that generation is amazing and gives me hope.   Top
