All right, I'm a lazy ass, so I'm mostly just going to copy and paste Superman's rules from last week (with maybe a few variations on a theme). DA RULES 1.Please put the name of your choice for this week's bootee IN THE SUBJECT HEADING! Simply replace the section of your post that reads: "Re:SurvivorBlows Tribe, It's Time to Vote!" with your pick. 2. Reply ONLY to this post! Do not reply to the last post on this thread. Do not reply to any other post on this thread. After reading these rules on THIS post click on the "reply" button in the bottom right of THIS POST ONLY. (Oops. We had a violator in week one.) 3. THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION THREAD! DO NOT TREAT IT AS SUCH! When you make your post, feel free to give your reasoning and your theories in the message portion. BUT, for further discussion of said theories, take it outside. Okay, that's it for the rules. There used to be one more, but here at Supes 'N' Sherps, Inc., we're open to suggestions, such as this one from the lovely George Tirebiter: And although I resent being told who/when/why to thank (I'm just stubborn that way,) Thanks for writing, Ms. Tirebiter. And you're absolutely correct. If we force people to gush about people's summaries, how much will that really mean to the summary writers? Not much, I'm thinking. So... In addition to the previously stated rules, may I introduce: THE STRONGLY WORDED SUGGESTIONS 1. If you read the summary and didn't get a chance to thank the writer, now would be a great time to do so. I'll be taking this opportunity myself as soon as I vote, since I haven't gotten around to gushing on the summary thread itself. 2. Taunt previous violators of the rules at will upon their first violation. Ah, goody. We had one violator last week (that I actually caught). Ladies and gentlemen, TechNoir managed not only to reply to Java, but to comment on Java's naked grandfather. (Actually, Bebo commented on Java's grandfather, too.) Fortunately, none of the comments about Java's grandfather can really be construed as telling Java that her vote was inept in any way, so Bebo's off the hook. Which leaves... TechNoir! TechNoir! TechNoir! Please feel free to taunt TechNoir for violating the rules and making the votes a little more difficult to count. Should TechNoir make another mistake, flames from Superman and/or SherpaDave should be expected. And maybe Shakes. Really, TN, a Hollywood Squares Square should know better. Tsk. Okay, kids! If the rules are the same as last series, the FIRST person that refuses to eat, immediately loses the challenge for their tribe. Thus, if Neleh must go twice, there is a tie-breaker... meaning that everyone ate the fafaru... meaning that the 3 people refuse spoiler is OUT. With this in mind, Neleh is shown suffering. MB 101 says that means that she is going to win, so Maraamu is off to TC. All righty. I'm fairly convinced that Maraamu loses the RC due to Sean's poor swimming abilities and that it motivates them to win the IC. So... Rotu goes to TC. Within Rotu? Saw somewhere that four survivors have similarly strong faith and it becomes an issue later on for someone else. From where I'm sitting, the four look like Gabriel (Quaker), Neleh (LDS), Paschal (Methodist), and Robert (Catholic, in spite of the voodoo doll). So those four are safe, unless this comes into play this week (still seems early for that to me). That leaves John, Kathy, Tammy, and Zoe. Zoe has weight loss of 25 lbs. reported. So not her. I re-watched the first episode to see if Paschal might be vulnerable, but that didn't seem to fit. It was also clear that while Kathy rubbed some people wrong, she also made up with some of them and was seen hugging John. Goldilocks(Gabe) is probably Kathy's biggest antagonist now. Also, the Alliance of 5 discussion thread was enlightening. Just who is in what alliance must be weeded through. I concluded that Hunter has Gina and his b!+ch Rob. Rob will influence Sarah (especially since Sean doesn't like Sarah). That makes 4 out of 7. So Sean, Vecepia, and Patricia are on the "outs." Fortunately, the IC pics came out and have helped immensely, showing that Rotu might actually win, and throwing other spoiler information into doubt. Also, there is the OFG Theory to consider. The only two real focuses of the highlights were Kathy and Patricia. Patricia was shown very little in Episode 1. Compare to Jessie in S-III: In Ep. 1, Jessie was little seen. In Ep. 2, Jessie not all that much seen, certainly not emphasized, then was booted. I wanted to pick Vecepia for this reason, but decided against that as she is stronger than Pat. So I suspect the show will go like this: Lots of talk about hunting animals. Probably some foreshadowing for future episodes. Reward challenge (RotoRooter win, Patricia a problem for Mara-amooo?). Kathy finds food, not much interest by the others. IC challenge. ONLY in the waning minutes will we see discussion of Patricia and her being the boss. Then Mara-amooo goes to TC. Patricia is asked probing questions by Jiffy Probe, then voted out. Alternate pick (just in case): Kathy.. Also, we really need to look at the "odd man out" theory, which is really what did Peter in. He didn't get booted because he was lazy, unlikeable, or just weird. He just wasn't the member of an already formed couple, and thus was expendable because he was the odd man out. See the Couples thread for more on that. Patricia apparently saw this odd man out effect and voted with Gina and Hunter to oust Peter to protect her own hide. But it won't last for long because the odd man (or woman) out now is Patricia. We have two romantically-inclined couples: Hunter & Gina, and Rob & Sarah. And we have one spiritually-inclined couple: Vee & Sean. That leaves Patricia out there twisting in the Maraamu wind. And twist she will, with a vengeance. Seeing the target on her ass, she's gonna try to turn this into Momma's Family and take Hunter's leader role (which she now knows that Vee appreciates thanks to Vee's comments at TC), but she'll end up being a re-tread of BB instead. She might have had a chance allying herself with anti-Sarah competitors Sean and Vee, but instead she's going to alienate herself from Sean, who's already uncomfortable with Hunter's alpha male status and surely won't take kindly to Momma trying to go all alpha-male on him. I see that the blue men and other leaders of the board are now swinging heavily behind Tricia, so I figure I'll put down a few reasons I'm convinced it is not her. First of all, she is the obvious pick to all of my non-hardcore friends who watched the show. Rationale: Mara was stupid for not voting out the weak old fat woman so they will inevitably lose again and wisen up. Second, she was prominently featured in a negative light in the promo and she is mentioned negatively ("dissension in the ranks") on the website. EPM has never made the bootee that obvious. We also have Peter's statement of "7 people in 3 blocs", which to me puts Patricia in a safe bloc with Hunter and Gina. Hunter and Gina aren't stupid. They watched S2 and saw a weak Keith help Tina and Colby ride to the top. They also watched them use two other manipulable people in Amber and Jerri. They are doing the same thing with Tricia playing the role of Keith and Roc and Sarah as the two dumb but loyal henchmen. They will stay as a bloc for at least one more episode. And that means if Mara is at TC, Vee goes (which also might explain why we saw that TC statement by Vee about how happy she was that Hunter stepped up? Foreshadowing for her demise at his hands?) Anyway, sorry I made this post more about my alternate pick. In the end though, I'm a stubborn one and sticking with Kathy.   Top

And despite some good points made by some blue men and their groupies, I just don't see it that clearly. It does look like Neleh goes twice in the IC challenge, but I don't see her pictured with the small bowl, so, I dunno. Rob is the only one pictured with the small bowl. So, I will assume these two face off in a tiebreaker. To me, Rob clearly looks the most miserable (defeated), so, I am guessing HIS picture is the classic misdirection. Therefore, the MooMoos win IC. And since I don't know nearly enough about the Rotu tribe, I am going with what I do know, Kathy is annoying, and is therefore the obvious boot choice from that tribe. Well, after thinking about it all day long I realized that the only reason I thought Rotu was going to lose was b/c of last week's preview which showed Patricia in a poor light and Kthy in a good light...therefore, I assumed that MB was trying to once again misdirect us from the losing tribe. But, is that really enough evidence to decide which tribe loses the IC? No, its not. So, that brings us to the IC pics. Yes, there is going to be a tie breaker and yes, it will be Neleh vs Rob. From the pics it looks like neleh might be having trouble, or she might be opening her mouth to show JP that she has swallowed her food. ON the other hand, we have a pic of Rob in a confessional wearing the same clothes he had at the IC, and he does not look happy.....maybe he is talking aobut why he couldn't eat the food.
