blondejuligirl 40 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Beauty Pageant Celebrity Judge" 02-28-02, 12:02 PM (EST) "The romance you will see is....." two of a limited number of people. Mark Burnett was on a radio station in Chicago this morning. I didnt hear all of it, but the crew on the show was talking about who they have in the office pool. They named them, for Mark. They had Sarah, Robert, Rob, Vecepia, and Zoe. Then they asked Mark about the romance. He said "I will tell you this, it is between two of the people you just mentioned." So, you guys can do the guessing, but my money is on Sarah and Rob. This is the only useful thing I've ever posted in my life!!!   Top

Everyone keeps talking about the romance between two survivors. But my question is ~~~~ Will this help the two make merger or will it hender them? This all depends on how the rest of the tribe see it? It might help them get to merger, but will the old tribe mates look to vote them off soon after because of the obvious alliance? Ideas?   Top

"Romance hinder" If there is a love connection, they need to get rid of one or both of them ASAP. (See BB2.) Bad idea to keep a romantic alliance together because they will not under any circumstances vote the other off until they romantically break up. Also, when they vote the person off, it has to be done unanimously (though probably w/o the "spouse"). Otherwise it will haunt the person who didn't vote for the block. Also, the remaining "spouse" will likely go after the person(s) who did vote the endearing one off. I like romance, but I don't like romance in a gameshow. Only means trouble. Bad dynamic, bad, bad.   Top

"RE: Romance hinder" I think you are probably right in that it will hurt the people who are romantically attached, but why is it any different really than any other alliance - especially Lizliz and Rodger's which was based on a strong emotional attachment. It is a little more obvious and frankly I think the fact that those people may be "getting some" may cause some resentment. Personally I think that it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. They are attractive singles marooned for 40 days with a strong common bond. I'm looking forward to seeing the dynamic that this adds to the show and I think it will be way cool.   Top
