"Anyone else like "Century City"?"
L.A. Law set in the year 2030. Funny, but of the first three episodes, every one so far has had a "sex" case involved. Tonight, some guy is sueing a woman because he discovered she had a "penis implant" -- something folks get all the time, as a "cosmetic inhancement" (non-functional). Weird, but for some unknown reason, he didn't find out until the morning after. And one more thing, in 2030 the President of the United States is Oprah Winfrie! Kristin Lehman... a Canadian actress who played a cyber punk by the name of Invisigoth on an X-Files episode is one of the principles. That made it worth watching right there!
Ioan Gruffud, who plays tyhe title role in the Horatio Hornblower movies, also stars.

She also used to be on the Poltergeist series... and urst starred on an episode of Andromeda last year... and the short-lived Strange World --she's done a lot of scifi-themed work.
Ya, I've caught the Tuesday broadcasts but missed the bionic ballplayer episode CBS spent nearly a month promoting -- guess that must have been one of the Saturday episodes.
Unfortunately I don't expect it to last, a special two-hour Idol creamed it's premiere and I'm not sure how it's doing since then...

Sadly, it seems to be true. CBS/Century City site doesn't list a preview for the next episode. Just a non-descript message about "check here later".
I don't think they ever aired the bio-engineered baseball player episode.

I saw the end of the baseball player episode - it was on after the basketball games on a Saturday.
They're bringing "The Guardian" back to its regular timeslot - already seen previews for this week's show.

I know the guy who wrote the second episode and he loved the show and he is so disappointed that it was cancelled. I like the second episode -- it was the one where the kid wants to remain a kid and the women had been raped by a rich guy from 10 miles away. I also love the aesthetic and those things they modernized and those things that they left normal.
