Having gelled coffee look like industrial sewage is slightly unfortunately. Getting it to taste that way takes a pro. I was sorry to lose Alvin (and yes, would have preferred Max), but let's be fair: that was a disaster. Then again, it's not as if the panel didn't have their choice of hideous...
As for the single elimination last night -- that was the schedule in action. They couldn't do two (or any even number) because it would offset the teams on tonight's challenge. It was one or three, and the episode count dictated one.
