If your friend's order is correct then Rich ends up against Rudy in the final 2 and loses. Rich knows ahead of time that he can't go against Rudy in the final 2, so why would he orchestrate Sue's demise now? And you have to know either Rich and/or Sue will be leading the block vote this week, so why would Rich vote Sue off now when he knows it doesn't serve his end game? The game has been played with a lot of smarts since the merge of the two teams. Why would things suddenly go stupid now? I would highly advise you, or anyone, to go to the ss.com board and read a post be Imerill. In it, he gives great reaons why it is definately possible that it will be Rich and Rudy in the final two. His basic premise is, that with the male alliance, sean, rudy, and rich are in the final 3 and rich wins the immunity challenge. At this point Rich picks Rudy to go against; fitting the quotes Rich (to Rudy):"It's me and you till the end"...Colleen: "Rich redeems himself"...either Rich thinks he has a better chance against the older Rudy, or wants to appear "nicer" to the pagong by redeeming himself by keeping his word. What my hunch is, is that Rich wants to take out Kelly this week, but maybe immunity stops him, so he settles for Sue to ensure himself a spot in the final two barring immunity chalenges. Thoughts?   Top

This is a theory I've been mulling over for a while, even before it was posted. Here's how the theory goes which explains this very nicely, and this is what's been going through my head today as I explained it to BadAs, who seemed to like my reasoning. Anyway. Kelly is too obvious for ejection this week. We've never been "handed" the winner through quotes from the show; it's always been spoiler pictures. But we don't have any. All we know is that we're supposed to think Kelly will go next. So she won't. We also know, through Jeff Novell's post, that Sean makes the Final Three. I tend to trust this post, because the way Jeff Novell was describing what he knew, it seemed to fit with how Sean's cousin might describe it. We also can assume that Sean, Rudy, and Rich have formed a Penis Alliance, since it's doubtful that Sean just "happened" to vote with the alliance in the last four votes. So if Kelly doesn't go, and Rich, Rudy, and Sean don't go... then... hmm... I think it will be fun to see Sue defend herself on The Early Show. Or fend off Letterman's questions. "Trust" LAST EDITED ON 08-16-00 AT 01:25 AM (EST) While I anticipate that the final order will be different than this, this is definitely the best strategy for Dicque based on what we know. WE know Susan is his biggest threat, because she thinks that she's a better game player than he is. What we don't know, despite speculation on this subject, is whether Richard trusts Sean enough to form a male alliance. To me, the evidence indicates that he does not --- but I don't have any insider information. We'll see tonight! Keep in mind, though, that there is old evidence (the best kind) that Kelly survives E12 (her father's comment that she was in all 13 episodes, and no native English speaker should interpret that to mean he meant she was only in TC in E13) and that Susan survives E12 (her comment that she earned enough to not work for 3 years). There is NO ... repeat, NO old evidence that the three men survive. For Sean, the best we have is the final 3 post. For Rudy and Richard, nada.   Top

It is possible that Rich doesn't believe that he would lose to Rudy. Bear in mind that Rudy had a lot of people who thought he was ornery and grouchy and all. No one who has been voted off the island have said anything bad at all about Richard. "He knew how to play the game" in every sense of the word. I believe Rich would think that he could beat most anyone on the island in a vote, his ego allowed him to believe that. BUT......it doesn't really matter, flaming dicque's flame gets extinguished this week.   Top

If it weren't for that damned immunity challenge last ep, I would be 5 for the last 5. However, I agree with your reliable source except for places 2 and 3. I posted something similar last week but, nobody wanted to talk about it. At that time there were only two picks for Susan on the SB poll. Everyone was still talking Sean and Kelly. Let's put it this way: if you were any of the other 4 survivors, would you want Susan in the final 4 with you. I think not. At this point, nobody is as dangerous as her. She is the only one with (realistic) multiple alliance strategies. If the penis alliance doesn't get her out now, she will definitely be in the final two. I don't think that you can say that about anyone else at this point. My thinking is that Colleen did some damage before she left by revealing (probably to Sean) that Susan wanted to form a VaginAlliance (is that the opposite of Penis Alliance? ) to "take Rich down". I also think that Sean shares this with Rudy and/or Rich which causes the animated exchange between Rudy and Rich about "... if anybody stabbed me in the back ...". Also, it provokes Rich to confront Susan. He runs after her, spins her around and says "You conniving little bitch. You think that you can take me down?" To which Soozie knows that her goose is cooked. She immediately runs to Kelly and blames her for blabbing thus causing Kelly to defend herself to poor Soozie. Revealing this info to R&R and providing Rich with the nice breakfast last week, endears Sean to R&R and a true Penis Alliance is formed. Thus, Kelly gone next week. Next, I think that both R&R feel safe about facing Sean in a final two showdown because they feel that he has pissed of enough females at this point (of which there will be 5 of 7 in the jury). Therefore, the IC becomes vital. But, I think that Sean will win the IC. This is Rich's nightmare that he never thought that he would see. Sean sticks to his promise to never vote Rudy off. Rich has to vote Rudy off and Rudy has to vote him off. There were also some posts on SS that referred to a NY Times article that stated Sean wins multiple IC's. Up til now, he has won none. So he must have one next week. In the final two trial, the jury will see that through the whole thing, Rudy has been Rudy. He never lied, never stabbed anybody in the back and never tried to steal the spotlight. He stuck to his plan which was to survive. Not make friends or life-long bonds. On the other hand, Sean's change in breakfast companions will cost him. I see him getting two votes max.   Top

I think that they will be able to persuade Sean into voting for Rich by making Sean think he is in danger of being voted off. Rudy and Rich will vote for the same person (Kelly, I think-she poses the greatest threat for them in a final two).   Top

I think that Kelly is pretty proud that she has not received one vote through the first 11 eps so far. "What I said at the beginning" If you look at my first speculative post, it says that order exactly. I still believe no matter what the spoilers hint at, that it will go Susan tonight. Then we will see Kelly go to start the next episode. Then Rudy wins immunity in the round of three and picks to go in against Rich. If this plays out this wayy, I know that this board has so much on SS.com's board because I know my guys BadAs abd Conspiracy Jim supported me in this theory as well as a host of others.
