PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

The odds posted in Vegas are for entertainment purposes only -- they won't take bets since the outcome was already decided months ago. I was in Vegas while S2 was airing and can confirm that messages are posted in each casino to that effect. (And I was in a bunch of casinos )

Bebo took the words right out of my mouth. Vegas and the odds-makers wouldn't take on anything that had a pre-determined outcome, lockbox or not.I could see one of the video editors or cameramen monitoring the final vote. Then they go off and get a 2nd mortgage on their house, go to Atlantic City and Vegas and place small bets ($10k or less) at each casino, for even money odds (I'm not sure if this is the right term). Basically, they bet $10k and get back $20k. If they start out with $100,000, they make a cool $100k profit, UTR and the only ones who know are they themselves and the IRS. As long as you pay your taxes (the casinos issue you a 1099), the IRS records are confidential. Now if you really want some action, you take the same bets to the Caribbean and keep your winnings money off-shore.
