While I appreciate the idea of downsizing that horrendously large brood, I don't like all of the downer storylines for Lynette. Cancer, hostage situation, her entire family in tornado rubble...
Don't get me wrong, I think Felicity Huffman is a wonderful actress, and she does a phenomenal job with heavy material. But I also like seeing Lynette sitting on the porch drinking margaritas with the girls and being witty. It's hard to credibly put those moments into the storyline for her character with such heavy plots.
