JMHO.Judges' comments: Randy, for him, thought it would be anticlimatic for her to sing the same song again, but she worked it out again. Paula, no mistake it's g-d given talent that she is possessed with, every father is feeling the tears on his face, made everyone proud, congratulations, you own it up there. Simon, round one you got slaughtered, now you've come back with he believes her best performance of the competition so far, she's back in the game.

Great rendition! Judges' comments: Randy, nice song, to be honest was a little pitchy for him this time. Paula, what may be pitchy to Randy may just be Taylor getting into the song. Randy interjects that the first song was unbelieveable, this one was just okay. Simon tells Paula what she said didn't make sense. Simon, probably not as popular as the first song, thinks he took the first round, thinks Katherine took the second round, thinks it's all to play for. (I think he means it's anyone's contest to win at this point. Thank you, Simon clarifies it's a tie ball game.)

Other than that, still breathy in the lower register, power only shows in upper register. Oooh, then she hits a bad sharp note on the key change. Ouch! Judges' comments: Randy, three things for her, she looks amazing, sounded really good, did not love the song. Paula, the song choice isn't her fault because she sounded brilliant. Simon, sorry but went from brilliant to quite good within one song, she is a great potential artist, delighted she is in the final, urges voters to vote remembering the second song.

Bad song, difficult to sing and her dress was awful, dull in color, stiff and the pleats looked like they were carved from concrete. I doubt her stylists could have found a more unflattering outfit. Considering the limitations she did a good job. The only way she will win is if she gets a huge sympathy vote. Even so, both of the contestants were entertaining and very different. I enjoyed the show.

I thought Simon tried the best to be fair all nite and told it like it was...Taylor did go best 2 out of 3...whether that has the effect of pissing off people and making them vote for Kat...I don't think enough of them...I really do think Taylor will get more of Elliott's votes than Kat will..He really did perform better than she did tonite. I just hope Chris sings tomorrow before the Lost Finale starts...and why was his wife there? I saw Bucky and said...Glowie should be sitting next to him!! He really is very nice to look at, very good singer--I hope he makes in country/southern rock asap!!

I'm not a fan of Kat so, I guess I'm giving the edge to Taylor, but on the last song, Taylor was so much better than Kat, I think that clinched it for him.

Taylor has been clearly more consistant and polished throughout the competition.Taylor brought it last night. Kat did not. Taylor kicked it up a few notches on the repeat songs. Kat did not. I think the best time to vote may be from 11-12--when the west coasters are watching, not voting and the east and central people are getting tired of voting for 2 straight hours. From 12-1 EST won't there be competition with the west coast voters then? Edited to fix phone to 06...that's what I get for typing and hitting redial at same time lol.

I'd go to a Taylor Hicks concert. McPhee? Meh. Never had the "McPheever."
She's a dime a dozen in looks and voice. I wish her well, I do. I just don't think she should win this one--and especially not based on tonight's performance.
