OK, it's possible to make the case for five people to get booted. Let's start with the people that aren't going anywhere:Mama Kim -- Boran doesn't want her booted. Teresa doesn't want her booted. Plus, she's weak and not a challenge threat. Thus, she stays. Teresa -- Lex doesn't know she was the snake. Mama Kim doesn't want her booted. She is a challenge threat, but she's still UTR. She has no prior votes. She stays. Ethan -- The prototype bootee ... except that he has no prior votes. He may even win the IC again. He stays. OK, that's all the people who are clearly safe. Now, on to the next group: Lex -- seems to have a bulls-eye painted on his back with his six prior votes. He'd lose any tie. But he likes Brandon, and Brandon probably likes him. For him to be booted, Brandon has to go back to rejoin Samburu. I don't think Samburu will be as welcoming as the rest of you do, since Samburu would be in control of the game HAD BRANDON STAYED LOYAL. Brandon's entire strategy was based around his assumption that Kelly was lying. But she wasn't. No one will "welcome him back with open arms" ... especially Frank, who never liked Brandon from Day 1. So Brandon stays with Boran, where he feels wanted, and probably tries to muddy the water about who is the rat. Tom -- same logic as Lex. Little Kim -- Ethan wanted to target her last episode, but she isn't really a challenge threat, and Ethan's main worry, a Kelly-Kim alliance, can't happen now. Brandon is less inclined to target her than the OFA. Plus, the "Eyemail profile" pattern seems to indicate that she is safe for now; the two Kims are the only two who haven't been profiled. Brandon -- lots of reason to think Brandon could be in trouble. Lex now knows that Kelly wasn't the snake. He probably still doesn't suspect Teresa. Thus, he probably thinks it was either Frank or Brandon, and he mistrusts them both. But Lex isn't an absolute idiot, despite his paranoia. He'll be charming to Brandon. However, he has to know that if he targets Brandon and Brandon finds out, Lex will be dead meat -- the Kelly vote was a wake-up call for him. Lex will save Lex, and Brandon will be safe ... this week. Frank -- this vote will be easy for Lex, Tom and Brandon. Brandon doesn't like Frank from Old Samburu, and Lex and Tom believed the Mall Rats' story that Frank was a jerk. Ethan, who knows better, will be OK with Frank leaving because Frank's physical strength makes him an IC threat, and because Ethan wants to win the votes of the jury -- and he'll probably still win Frank's vote against anyone but Teresa. Mama Kim will have a harder time accepting Frank's departure, but she'll bring herself around to it ... though she'll lobby like mad to protect Teresa. End result ... no more Frank. Samburu doesn't take the game over. Brandon stays loyal to his new alliance, and Boran continues in the lead.

I think dumbass Lex messes up again and targets Kim P as the next Samburu to go. Brandon is the one crying over the decision of who to vote for. We get a 4-4 tie of Lex/Kim P and Lex gets tossed. I think with Lex gone, everyone becomes free agents since no one trusts no one, thus the We are Family episode title. Lex was the ringleader of Boran. With him gone, no one left to call the shots. I also don't see the Old Samburu sticking together either. With Brandon switching sides twice, F/T may fear he will keep going back and forth so they jump ship as well. I also think Theresa is Final 2. I think she gets asked "is there anything you are ashamed about how you played the game" or something along that line that's been asked in S1 and S2, and this is where we find out she voted for Lex. But then again, I"m never right!

LAST EDITED ON 12-12-01 AT 01:16 AM (EST)I'm sorry but I just cannot accept the fact that Teresa, Li'l Kim and Frank are sooooo incredibly stupid as to not know that they need Brandon for at least a couple of votes, or they are so out the game. Tom is an easy choice, he's ill and I do not think Brandon likes him (he's a total homophobe for Pete's sake, never forget that). Also Brandon might not like Frank, but he knows that he certaintly CANNOT trust Lex. So Tom goes. Edited to congratulate myself on my 100th posting. I'm a Blistex Spokesperson now. I'm so proud !!!!

Great Summary Lisapooh! Game Logic:
Brandon will rejoin Samburu and there will be a 4-4 tie. Because of previous votes, either Lex or Tom will go depending on IC, and Brandon's on his way to the Final 4. Editing: Episode 8 was edited to surprise us with Brandon’s move to the Boran. On the surface, to the average viewer, it now looks like Boran has the 5-3 advantage since Brandon switched over to join Lex. Kim is shown as devastated and betrayed. Last week Frank was shown commenting that he did not trust Brandon. The show has also been edited to show Brandon’s dislike for Frank. So, the editing is leading the average viewer to think Frank , the strongest of the remaining Samburu, will be Borans next target. At the next higher level of editing, for those who see through the basic misinformation, and suspect that Brandon will “betray” the Boran and rejoin the Samburu. MB has planted a few more red herrings… CBS Poll Red Herring: The CBS Poll this week asks, “Has Lex gone too far?” Just like last week, leading us to suspect Lex, but away from the real bootee. Survivor Insider Red Herring: When his vote is revealed, Brandon states that his plan is to vote for Kelly this week and then join back up with the other three Samburu next week, vote out Lex, and ride to the Final Four with the other Samburu. MB would not have given us this clip if it actually unfolds the way Brandon describes it. Something happens to keep him from voting out Lex and change the plan…Immunity! Lex’s Torch: Lex’s torch draped with the Immunity necklace never showed up last week and Lex didn’t win immunity…the Torch vidcap is probably from this week’s episode and used as a red herring last week! JP: Lex's loyalty is questioned Tom: Lex is getting a little shaky on us Lex: Last night we had to do something to save our own ass. I acted and I'm regretting it now. The previews set up Lex as the obvious target. Which is often the way MB edits the IC winner. OFG Theory: This theory states that the person voted out will be pictured in that weeks vidcaps, but not featured as a target. Frank is not seen in any vidcaps. Tom is featured “helping the women shower”, dealing with his “third eye”, and commenting that Lex is “getting a little shaky”, but never as a possible target this week. The Unlikely Date:
Brandon is the most likely candidate to be part of the "unlikely date", resulting from a paired RC victory. Regardless of his partner (probably Frank), the “unlikely date” will be “on the minds of many”, because they will be speculating whether or not Brandon decides to switch back to Samburu. He does. Tears: “A tribe member breaks down in tears over a critical decision that needs to be made.” The only critical decision that would have someone breaking down in tears would have to involve voting out someone you liked…No one is going to cry about voting out Lex and Brandon isn’t going to cry about voting out Frank...so, the only scenario that makes sense is for Lex to win immunity and Teresa having to vote out Tom because it’s a “critical decision” that needed to be made (he’s the only other Boran with prior votes) Weight Loss Theory: The weight loss theory was accurate until EP9 last year. It has run it’s course…and so has Tom. Goodbye Tom
Krautboy

I believe in a desperate attempt to save lex, Ethan throws Immunity, He has done it before. Teresa has to decide on Tom (tearfully) to save herself. Brandon still plays both sides of the game. Lex loses all leadership and everyone is now free agents in the alliance game. Alernate pick: Obviously, Lex comes down to a 4-4 vote against either Lex and Lil' Kim Or a 4-4 Vote agains LEx and Brandon. The crying person in this senario is Brandon, and Lil' Kim respectively. my two cents coolbeans56

I'll keep it short and sweet: He's in the previews, but not at all as a target, in fact he's commenting on Lex being a possible target (at least viewers may interpret it that way). Brandon's exact plan doesn't work. Lex wins immunity. MB thinks the average viewer has forgotten about Tom's votes because he's been UTR lately.

Don't know if this feels like bandwagon or not...but I suspect previous votes will come into play for TC this week. Lex is going to be trying like crazy to avoid the possibility of getting anymore votes and wins immunity. Thus making that torch shot valid. Or he would get another round of votes and take a hike.I bet kelly told the S who had previous votes against them as well. So they know to vote Tom if Lex gets immunity Who B votes for is unclear - but probably Frank as he is the strongest of the S. And he knows how the tie-breaker works and will be prepared - any S will be for that matter.

It's a toss up between Tom of Lex. Since both of them have more votes than any Samburu and will loose 4-4 tie breaker, there is no reason Samburu won't target either of them. Of those 2, Lex seems more likely to win IC than Tom, so I say Tom goes.

Lex needs to go, but Sammy Bobo has a chance to take control back and ride into final 4 land as long as they take Brandon back. And if they're smart, they will. A vote against anyone in Sammy Bobo by the Sammy Bobo's will result in their not making it past #5.They don't even realize that Lex's ego has put Sammy Bobo back in the drivers seat. Lex has to win immunity or he is next. Totally makes sense that Tom will go, though. Ethan, who should win immunity, will probably throw the challenge to let Lex win, which saves Lex as well as Ethan. Tom, though, should be thinking about not voting for either of them if they make final 2 for betraying the 3some. Tom will suffer because of final votes. Here is the question of the day: Who will OB vote against?

Logic dictates to me that it must be either Tom or Lex.This was a hard choice and I am surprised that at the time of my posting, Tom is well in the lead on this board. The most logical and simple choice given all of our information is that Lex will go. I just have this feeling that MB would have hid a little more if Lex really were going, but is willing to release what he has (i.e., Brandon's intention to return to OS) because it was actually Tom that goes next. Part of me really wants to vote for Lex, but I just can't get rid of this feeling that Lex stays a little while longer. I guess that means I am betting he gets immunity. It is a 7-1 chance against this (if each were equally capable of winning which probably is not the case), but I am just thinking this is what happens. I also see the logic in Brandon going if everyone gets mad at him for him manipulations. I just don't see OS being so stupid as not to take him back. It just would not make sense. It may happen, but it would not make sense so I will not assume something happens that does not make sense (even though Kelly's boot did not make sense). I can also see Brandon being convinced to stay somehow, which might lead to KimP or Frank going. But why would Brandon stay with OB? Even if Lex tries to convince him he will keep Brandon over KimJ (or Tom or Ethan), Brandon would not believe him. So this might happen, but again--it does not really make sense. Even if logic is dead--it is all I have--so like at "Weekend at Bernie's", I am trying to keep it going as long as I can and pretend that it is still alive. P.S. Thank you LisaPooh.

LAST EDITED ON 12-13-01 AT 01:31 PM (EST)LAST EDITED ON 12-13-01 AT 00:01 AM (EST) As usual, this week there are a number of people who could go and it wouldn't surprise me one bit. I've read many of the theories that support various people being booted, and they all sound plausible. At the same time, I just can't commit myself to any of them either. So I made up my own crazy-a$$ theory. If I'm wrong, it won't be the first time, or the last. If I'm right, then everyone will think I'm brilliant. Or nuts. Anyway, I usually don't write long posts for the voting thread, since I usually just agree with something someone else has already written, but not this time. Here goes.... It's the aftermath of the E8 TC. Boran now knows Kelly wasn't the snake, or the rat, based on her edited-out comment that this time she really did vote for Lex. I think it probably was apparent to them that she only voted for Lex at this TC because she was forced to by her backstabbing tribemates. Boran also now knows that Brandon lied to them when he fed Lex all the stories about Kelly being a "free agent." They know they cannot trust him anymore. At first, I wondered why Kelly's comment was edited out, since that would have been great drama. Also, when Jiffy said, "I think Kelly's reaction said it all," my reaction was "huh?" because what we were shown of her reaction wasn't really all that strong. I think MB didn't include her comment because he didn't want us to know that Boran knows Brandon lied to them. All the survivors know that Brandon voted with Boran for Kelly. Kim P.'s speech in the preview about being set up by her "friend" has to be about Brandon. She can't be talking about any of the old Boran or Frank (not her friend), and she can't be talking about Kim J. or Teresa, since they are the ones she is talking to. Therefore, Kim knows Brandon did not vote with Samburu like he promised her he would, and instead voted for Kelly. Kim P. is upset. Maybe it's termporary, and she gets over it immediately after the speech, and the clip is a red herring. Or, maybe the Borans say to themseves, hey, we could exploit this apparent Samburu rift (this new rift, that is - they already know that Samburu isn't exactly the chummiest bunch). They realize now that they are dead meat if Brandon switches back to Samburu because both Lex and Tom have prior votes (the clip of Lex saying they acted and he's regretting it). If Samburu stays together, it doesn't matter who gets immunity, as either Lex or Tom will be voted off. Then the rest of Boran can just sit back and watch themselves all get voted off. Not good if you're a Boran. So what can they do? For some reason, I have a feeling (a gut feeling?) that Kim P. is one of the two that wins the reward challenge, along with a Boran (Tom maybe, but it's not that important). This is the "unlikely date on the minds of many," because everyone knows what's going on. The Boran member, safely isolated away from the prying tribe's ears, is nursing Kim P.'s distrust of Brandon. They tell her, look, he might say he's coming back to Samburu, but he's already lied to you once, and he lied to us - he lies to everyone. How can you really trust him ever again? They are going to do to Brandon just what Brandon did to Kelly - turn his own tribemate(s) against him. Yeah, it sounds far-fetched, but how many people thought Kelly would get booted the way she did? It happened once, it could happen again. Given that Kim P. is not the brightest bulb, I can easily see her believing what Boran tells her and deciding to vote Brandon off. Nevermind that in so doing, she gives the advantage back to Boran and is seemingly left without any true allies. No one ever said this girl was smart. However, it would still be difficult for her, and it would bring her to tears. It would also give us some of that delicious irony that MB so loves, since way back before the time of Moto Maji, Kim P. said she could never vote for Brandon because he'd never do it to her. I know this scenario seems unlikely, but I feel like it at least fits in with the ideas of facetime and stories. Brandon has been prominently featured in most of the episodes, and it would be a fitting end to his story to be voted out as I've described. I just don't feel like Lex, Tom, Frank, or Kim P. (the others most often mentioned as bootees for this week) have had their stories told completely yet. Edited to remove the "We Are Family" reference because that's next week's title. This week's is "Dinner, Movie, and a Betrayal," which completely makes sense if my theory is correct. Whew. That was long. diamond

The only person in a position of power is Brandon. Does Brandon want to be the 5th wheel or does he want to retain his power. I think he believes his chances at being in the final 2 does not lie within Boran. Thus, if I were Brandon I would immediately re-align with KimP, Frank and Theresa and vote out Lex. The only way Lex is not voted out is if he has immunity - then Tom will go.

Brandon fully intends to switch back to Samburu but discovers that Frank is unwilling to take him back. Frank thinks he and Teresa can lure MamaKim over instead. MamaKim "seems" interested but decides to stay put. Lex wins IC. Teresa then tells Frank their plan isn't working and they should reconsider Brandon. Brandon the "Power Player" rolls his eyes and says you had your chance. Tom, losing trust in Lex and fearing he may be the Samburus target, jumps ship ala Kelly. Tom the Dim Bulb thinks Brandon went back to Samburu and has parting words for Lex. Lex has another Maalox Moment and decides he needs to cut off Tom's head.

Basically, I'm going with the theory that Samburu pulls its act together and votes off Lex, or, if he gets immunity, Tom, due to the prior votes each has. Not as complicated as some other people's theories!

so, this being my first post, i humbly wish to endear myself to the hearts of y'all... but that aside...there has been something that has been bothering me to no end ever since episode two... i'm sure someone else has noticed this, but on both S1 and S2, the voting always followed gender and age patterns... if two men were voted off in a row (ie. mike and jeff) they would be followed by two women (alicia and jerri)... this meant that the final four would ultimately end up an even male-female split... last season, it went so far as to be an older woman, an older man, a young man, and a young woman in the F4 so that MB could nicely cover all of his demographic bases... but this time round, it's all been a big mess... first off, two women went in a row, and then the final 10 was an uneven male-female split (6-4) for the first time ever... if the season ends up with the predictable final four (E/L/MK/Tom), then MB will have alienated his young female audience... right now as it stands in the tribe, there are three mid-life-crisis-ers (Lex, Tommy, Frank), two male younguns' (Brandon and Ethan), two from the menopausal crowd (T and MamaKim) and only one potential Elisabeth-ite (Lil'Kim)and the gender split is still 5-3 in favour of the men... it therefore makes sense to me that, even though it is rather predictable, a man is definitely going this TC, and even more likely an older man... now to tackle the brandon issue... if brandon makes the fatal mistake of sticking w/ boran, than he would be inclined to convince OB to vote for frank, the one he most dislikes, plus he can use the angle of frank being a greater IC threat than either of the women... this takes out frank, a middle-age man but... if brandon goes back to samburu, who would be increadibly stupid not to take him back, the vote will be for either tommy or lex... now lex is the immeadiate target but i, like most everyone else, feel that ethan will throw him the IC, making tom the target... the vote will lock in at Tom- 4; Frank/Lil'Kim- 4, and with three previous votes, Tommy's a goner... now with samburu back in power and potentially the F4, MB has him self set up with a demographically ideal F4 once again: young male and female, older male and female... so.. that's my longwinded response to this thread, but i needed to get that out there p.s. great summary lisapooh

Samburu would be crazy not to take Brandon back, and Boran would be nuts to let him go. So what will Brandon do? The power of 2 (E & MK) in Boran can promise him number 3 spot in Boran, over Lex & Tom. Samburu is 2 powers of 2 (F & T and B & KP), and F & T would pick KP before B, so he's 4th in Samburu. Look for Boran to try and keep Brandon & Kim from reestablishing their close alliance. If they promise B 3d spot in Boran, and target the hated Frank to sweeten the deal, they just may keep Brandon with Boran. Brandon needs to play both sides again, pretend to reunite with Samburu & steer their votes onto Tom or Lex (4 & 5 in his new alliance w Boran) so that he & new allies Ethan & MK avoid getting any votes. Brandon is in the driver's seat, but there is no safety belt in this game. Immunity or not, Lex stays & we get to hate for a while longer. Lisapooh, great entity of the thread, utterly fantastic summary. Swami

A valid argument can be made for several people here in this wild and wooly week, but at the moment I am leaning to LEX.~ Brandon would have to be a complete idiot to stick with the Borans in my opinion so I think he's more apt to go back to the OldSamburus. ~ The late-surfacing 'rumour' of the Brain suggesting that Kelly said she was in Loser Lodge with Lex for 12 days (which means he HAS to go tonight if it's a final four in the last episode -- still unclear if we're getting a final 3 or final 4). ~ A number of people in the show are pissed off at Lex and wouldn't be upset to see him go. Alternatives: It's been rumoured that Ethan might "let" Lex win immunity so the target, assuming Brandon goes back to the oldSamburus, would be TOM with his prior votes. Tom is my number one alternative pick. Other possible picks would be FRANK if Brandon sticks with the Borans and he says to Lex "Frank goes or I go back to the Samburus and pick you or Tom off." BRANDON could also find himself on the short end of a 7-1 vote if he overplays his alliance game by trying to use both the Borans and Samburus and they all turn against him. KIM P. is a distant possiblity due to Lex and Ethan talking about her being a target on the bus in the last episode. Teresa and MamaKim are under the radar, IMO, and are safe in this episode along with Ethan. Having said this just now... don't be surprised if one of these three here gets booted! First, because the Old Boran are finally going to wake up to the fact that all they have managed to do since the Merge is BOOT off two of their own members -- Clarence and Kelly. Second, because Teresa made her big move to re-unite Samburu last week (when it really counted) and Brandon turned traitor on them. Third, because Frank IS an original Boran and IS the most outstanding physical threat to WIN future Immunity Challenges. Fourth, because no matter what the liar Brandon says is his method he will still jump at the chance to kill two birds with one stone --- stay with Boran majority AND boot Frank; the one guy he hates. Fifth, because Frank has painted himself into "the LONER corner" and will not go around pleading with people NOT to vote for him. Dalton PS. Thanks to LisaPooh for the great summary.

...haven't followed any of the spoilers this year, but from what I have heard from other people there really haven't been any spoilers this year anyway. So, I am forced to work off of game logic and precedent. Game logic dictates that Brandon pulls off the biggest coup in Survivor history with his two part plan that he started last week. But, precedent, Occams Razor and what we know about Burn-it dictate otherwise. First of all, Brandon's strategy is obviously the smart thing to do, yet one look at Survivor precedent begs teh obvious question, when have the Survivors EVER done the smart thing strategically? Why should that trend change now. Also, when has Burn-it ever given us a look at a winning strategy in advance? Remember how much he hid the Tina/Colbster alliance from us....so, why would he let us know about Brandon's big plan? The reason is simple, because it doesn't work. So, lets look at Occams Razor.....everyone is Sambura is mad at Brandon, Boran even without Kelly would still have a one person advantage if they got rid of Brandon tonight, Brandon will draw suspicion from both sides for the backpeddling and explaning that he has to do tonight....therefore, based on those factors, the only obvious bootee tonight is Brandon.

LAST EDITED ON 12-13-01 AT 05:25 PM (EST)For the sake of diversity. diamond's reasoning appeals. AyaK and Krautboy laid out wonderful arguments for the other two I think likely. Basically I'm going with my own reasoning though, and mostly based on editing/story-line. I believe either Frank, Tom, or Brandon make perfectly good sense. Kim P makes sense but for lack of face time. Brandon's story is complete if he goes. Frank's has been sidelined temporarily but he can come back to boot Brandon. Frank and Kim P will be at the lodge soon. Scenario Boran will win this thing with Teresa as a mixer. They have been edited to win from the beginning. They have made a stupid mistake but not as huge as Samburu did in never establishing unity between old and young. Lex and Boran will do anything to prevent a tie vote this time. Lex will promise Brandon they are ousting Frank, but he will not trust Brandon, nor will the other Boran. Brandon is on KimJ's list for people who are playing in the way she disapproves--trying to play all sides. Ethan is Paranoid. Tom is pissed that he was tricked into voting for Kelly-not-the-Rat by Brandon. Brandon wants to rejoin his tribe but he feels they are not trusting him and so he says screw them--I'll go with Boran and at least get rid of Frank. Boran will do its best to recruit someone who will help off Brandon in case Brandon votes with Samburu for a tie. Likely they will go to Teresa and/or Frank for help and keep KimP out of the loop so she won't inform Brandon, but it may be KimP is put in position of being pressured to vote B and cries. Iago is caught by telling too many lies to too many people, and the Betrayal in the title indicates one more paranoid illogical rush in this game to get rid of people who are loose in their loyalties. Lex is an egotistical control freak, and he will boot anyone who he feels his out of control and playing their own game, and he is an idiot because he is not picking up on Teresa, the real threat. ------------------- However, I would definitely be voting for Frank if he had any face time at all in last episode or the previews, as I believe he bonds with Kelly at the lodge. Edit: to agree with Shakes, who's vote wasn't up when I was writing my reasoning and he said it better and shorter, and because dammit I forgot: LISAPOOH IS A WILD HONEY OF A WRITER, and I said so on her summary thread. Ssssssoooo wonderfully wicked... thanks! With every mistake, we must surely be learning--George Harrison

Yes, an upset pick! The reality (no pun intended) is that I haven't been able to spend much time this week on Survivor, but my opinion still remains largely unchanged from what it was during the first post-Ep8 24 hours: Brandon is a fool.Last week everyone thought that Lex "snake hunt" was being "overblown" and would quickly pass. Obviously wasn't and didn't. This week everyone is expecting KimP and Co. to quickly welcome Brandon back into the Samburus. I was unconvinced last Friday morning that this was going to be the case and and I remain unconvinced today. Who knows, maybe Lex will realize his stupidity and now guarantee Brandon a Final Three of Brandon, Lex, and Ethan. And let's also not forget the title of tonight's show "Dinner, Movie and a Betrayal" -- it implies the show isn't over yet folks. Unfortunately, my spoiling time has been quite limited since then, therefore I'm going to continue with my initial "gut" instinct (as we know, your gut is ALWAYS correct ) and defer to my fellow Blue Men as to the particulars. EEE and AK say FRANK (Ice unfortunately has yet to cast a vote) so therefore I'll go with FRANK. Therefore FRANK is my pick... although I'll go with TOM as the alternate (Lex just seems to obvious this week.) -SB

... even though SherpaDave doesn't want any poofters and so long as Lex wins immunity.I agree with Diamond and will take things a step futher. Besides Lex being too obvious and is the most likely winner of immunity. If Lex doesn't win the IC, then obviously OS would welcome him to vote along with them to oust Lex. Still, the choice for Tom being booted may appear too obvious as well. Brandon has played both sides and did so almost openly. It is obvious from the previews that both sides know that Brandon misled them. OB will vote against Brandon for: a) payback b) he does pose a threat for non-physical IC challenges c) they need to get rid of an OS The unlikely date will be one of the OS with the OB. We know it probably won't be Teresa/Tom. It may refer to Brandon/Tom. Here's the strategy: While Tom's way with Brandon, OB convinces at least one of the OS to vote out Brandon. However, the OS ask for something in return... dismantling the alliance and everyone voting as a "free-agent". All agree ("one big happy family"), however, the sub-alliances will still be there, unspoken. If lex doesn't win immunity next week, he's gone. Then Tom. That will leave Ethan, MammaKim, KimP, T-bird and Frank. F4: Ethan, Frank, MammaKim, KimP F3: Ethan, Frank, KimP F2: Ethan, Frank Winner: Ethan

Damn - barely made it for the Safari.Lex is gone, unless he has immunity. Brandon plays both sides, but returns to oSamburu. Meanwhile, he slams Frank with some votes from the oBoraners who believe he is truly on their side (and they believe he is authentic when he says he'll vote for Frank, because he really wants him gone). This also brings him further into the fold of oSamburu because he came back and "betrayed" his new friends in oBoran. Of course, he dumped Frank, which ticks off Teresa, and may drive her to MammaKim and Ethan and Tom, but that's next week. If Lex has immunity, I've not a clue - but my gut tells me Frank. I think if Lex is immune, oSamburu will try and take out the most logical target - Ethan. Who has no votes. If oBoran votes Frank for the reasons above, Frank's gone. If oBoran decides to dump Brandon, it might be interesting... Ethan and Brandon would have a good match in each other in trivia or knowledge of other survivors, I think.

Wow, we've got differences of opinion all over the place, don't we? IceCat and Krautboy say Tom goes, as Samburu unites. shakes, diamond and Outfrontgirl say Brandon goes, because no one trusts him anymore. AyaK, sleeve and Webby think Frank goes, and Brandon stays loyal to his new alliance. Pepe, LML and Pinky and the Brain says Lex goes, and Pinky was the only one right last week. For no really good reason, I'll side with the Frank team. Why? Well, frankly, because everything in the previews dealt with Brandon trying to rejoin Samburu while Boran was questioning Lex. "Reverse psychology" tells me that neither of those come true; thus, Boran and Brandi stick together. If they do, the main threat is Frank, who is definitely a threat to win any immunity challenge. Boran takes him out before he wins an IC at an inopportune time. ____________________
