Chris would be a deserved winner. Katherine and Paris are also my favorites. Pickler is playing dumb, Elliot has no stage presence, and as much as people think Taylor is entertaining, I think the opposite. Who could sustain a career on his shenanigans? They would get tired and old. From his silly dancing to his Ray Charles impressions, Hicks is bland, boring and borrowed at best.   Top

I predicted WAY back, probably before the top 12, that Taylor would probably win the whole thing. I stand by that prediction. Taylor is perfect for AI, he's custom-made for AI, he is what AI is all about: that being a person of pure, natural talent, but does not fit the cookie-cutter mold of the music business today. Taylor lives and breathes music, he has that rare natural 'soul' that people like Ray Charles and others have. He doesn't follow the trend of what is popular, but sings what is in his soul, and sings it beautifully. Taylor needs AI and AI needs someone like Taylor to win. He is real, he is pure, he is genuine. geekboy ETA: I think every Taylor-doubter should get a hold of a copy of his CD he cut last year to listen to the real Taylor. Taylor's own music is brilliant and captures the essence of his voice and soul. The CD is called "Under The Radar" and songs such as "The Deal", "Heart And Soul" and "Soul Thing" are brilliant. Hearing him sing these songs as opposed to the songs thrown at him on AI is like night and day.   Top
