Stairway2Dayton 104 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Blistex Spokesperson" 11-20-01, 10:45 AM (EST) "Post merge challenges" I do believe that there will be no merge until Ep 8. However, since I have to pick individuals for spoilin' safari, it led me to think about individual challenges. If memory serves me (and it usually doesn't) there is no real reward challenge during the merge episode. The IC is usually endurance-based (holding your breath under water in S1, pole sitting in S2)which, while boring, requires a lot of strategy. Do you throw it to save your tribe, a la Colby? Do you last for hours then become a loser, showing your tenacity and marking you as a threat? I can't see Brandon, Kelly, Lex (too tall), Tom, Teresa or MamaKim as strong contenders for an endurance challenge. I believe it will come down to Kim P, Frank, Clarence and Ethan. Frank has got to want it the most, he should feel vulnerable surrounded by the Borans and he wants to make up for his miserable showing at the arrows. I don't see him as the type to throw a challenge. Clarence feels the same vulnerability, so I think it will be a showdown between these two. I am looking forward to the RC where one person wins food and is allowed to bring someone with them. I sincerely hope MB tweaks the challenge so that Kelly wins (a brainteaser challenge?) and has to declare an ally. Comments? S2D   Top

If it isn't this week, I imagine he will have some type of food or water deal for those in need. I am looking forward to the endurance challenge, too, although I think Teresa will last longer than we give her credit. Brandon should flop within 2 hours. Tom not far behind, although Brandon may glue himself to that pole to avoind being voted off....hmmmm. I can see Frank outlasting them all in this type of a challenge. He has the hunter's mindset and military training. I don't think Kim P has a chance in the group of men that you mention. I also think Clarence may be too tall to last on a pole for that long. Balance would defnitely come into play after a few hours. And you are so right about the food reward. It ouwl dbe interesting to see who she would pick. That is one that I would NEVER want to win since it just pisses people off. I wouldn't be surprised if Kelly realizes that.
