Oh, I thought Gary & Dave were funny, too, but like all stand-up comedians very hit and miss and a bit nasty. Oswald and Danny have a natural sense of humour, and the "Shut up, b!tch" remark, which from anyone else would have been entirely offensive, was, in context, entirely well-deserved, especially in response to Tara's lame limp-wrist insult. Besides - the MAC/Village People/Gucci references are very early-30s professional - my demographic (and the demographic of the majority of TAR watchers, to the delight of the advertisers). Although I am not male, Cuban, American or gay, I can very much relate to them, unlike any of the remaining contestants, whom I view only as I would an interesting zoo exhibit (hmmm....Blaige as orangutans, Twil as chimpanzees, and Chex as apes).Having said that, I would agree that Gary's "they're not natives - they're people - this isn't the 1800s" will live on in my memory as a great TAR2 line.

In a good year you can earn that". - Oswald on why the million is not such a big deal.
