wildchickenhunter 3192 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Car Show Celebrity" 03-06-03, 07:58 AM (EST) "I'm a Celebrity - It's finally over!" OMH - praise Jesus it's over!!!!!!!!!!!! O.K. it could have been much worse. I am not sure how, but I am sure many of you will tell me. It was nice to see Cris win even though I had picked John. It was also nice to see that he was humble about the whole thing. So there was a lot of "Bad and Ugly" and a little "Good". What are your final thoughts about "I'm a Celebrity. Get Me Out of Here"?   Top

Well I guess it just goes to show that the sympathy vote can over-take anything. Everyone thought John would win because Howard Stern fans would keep him there. And Alana thought Joan Rivers had bought her daughter a phone bank. But when it came down to it everyone wanted the guy they considered sweet and a nice guy. Most people related to being dumped and wanted to cheer Cris up. Either that or he got the anti-J.Lo vote. I wonder if Jennifer and Ben watched this show? Hmmm? Oh well, at least I picked the right winner this time. I had been wrong so many times expecting Bruce to be booted everynight.   Top

I watched the first show and thought it was horrible and never watched another episode. I know that they picked it up for another run. Did a lot of you watch as religiously as you watched Survivor/AR/Mole/etc.?   Top

The ratings started off well, dropped like a rock, then improved a bit towards the end. They weren't stellar, but it's still a possibility that they'll do it again, since ABC doesn't have many ratings-grabbers in the first place.   Top

I would occasionally click to it to see if it ever got better but could never stand more than about 2 minutes. However, the last week I would channel surf to it to watch the announcement of who was kicked off then leave. Since they tended to draw that out in the same way each time it was easy to just catch the 5 seconds I was interested in without having to endure to much hardship from the rest of the (fill in blank here).   Top

I think this show did wonders for Cris and Melissa. They both stood out and came out with, in Melissa's case a better rep, and in Cris's case, with respect from the audience. Alana leaves with her rep totally trashed. This woman is a horror. Tyson's a psycho. I actually enjoyed the series, they should do another one. There are things that could be better, but I think they did well. And I really like John Lehr, hope we see him again soon.   Top
