On AI 4, there was a female contestant who sang the Phantom of the Opera. She had a punk style, with blue hair. I found some links a while ago, but have since lost them. Anyone that can remember her name, please let me know. She should have been in the competition until the end, and not Underwood. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you a million times for her name!!! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I just feel that Brianna wasn't given a fair shake. She impressed me greatly and I would have liked to have seen more of her. As Dennis Miller was fond of saying, "That's just my opinion, I could be wrong." My intent was not to upset any fans of Carrie's. My personal tastes absolutely exlude any and all resemblence to Country music. Next to Jazz, it is my least favorite (Rap is a close third). I grew up on The Beatles and The Doors so of course I was pulling for Bo--The Rocker. Carrie Underwood definitely leaned toward Country, thus turning me off. That is not to say that her talent wasn't properly recognized. My intent was not to start any kind of argument, but simply to find out the name of Brianna, because she made an impression on me. So I thank you for providing her name for me and once again the last thing I wanted to do was demean C. Underwood. She won fair and square and more power to her. Once again I express my gratitude!!! Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

As I replied to the post prior to yours, I really didn't intend to start a mini war as to whether Carrie Underwood was deserving of winning. I was impressed by Brianna and wanted to see more of her. I felt that she was talented and deserved to go a bit further in the competition than she did. She didn't, oh well, that's life. I'm definitely not losing sleep over this, only with AI5 being broadcast, I was reminded of her and wanted to remember her name. I will apologize right here for implying that Carrie was undeserving of winning. She is talented, just not my cup of tea. Thank you for your response and please accept my apology for my post implying anything negative towards CU. Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
