I think inside (the character Bree) she is, or was, a very normal person. But things happened to her. I don't think she is weak at all, but very very strong.I have a friend who reminds me of Bree. Very particular in what she does. Extremely controlling. About to fall apart from trying to hold her constructed world together. Uptight doesn't even begin to explain, but she is very interested in being in a relationship with a man. But she chooses wrong men. An abuser of his own child. A drunk. A control freak. The experiences have left her needing compulsive control, and rigid. Just like Bree. She also turned to booze. But controlled it. She would never admit she had a problem with it. I don't know what will happen with (the character) Bree. I don't know what will happen with my friend.
