Does anyone know if Bucky was in a band or plays the guitar? I noticed last night and again in the "Take It Easy" performance that he looks like he is subconsiously playing the guitar when he sings. Any thoughts?

Lots of people wanted to see others go first, but you can't vote AGAINST anyone. PRetty much everyone else stood out from the pack, either good or bad. These two didn't, other than their looks, and there were others that looked even better.Bobby and Stevie, OTOH, sucked badly enough that there was no question, even to them, that they were gone. You could tell by looking at Stevie that she knew she was gone, and when Ryan told Bobby he was done, Bobby said "I know".

I'm fine with all four. Stevie's voice was weak last week, and although I would have kept her over Heather, she was #10 at best even if you put Becky at #12 due to votes. Becky, well, nothing distinguished her. She was good looking, but undistinguished. Bobby had a horrible night, but he entertained me, oh well. Patrick? Meh, he was okay, nothing great, I wouldn't put him F12. Bob Factoid: The fishercat is the only creature known to have gone completely insane chasing its own tail.

Thats a good point. It does seem like an added humiliation to already being the first people eliminated. Its like "Hey, You! Sing that song again that millions of Americans didn't really like very much! And oh, by the way, your 15 seconds of fame is OVER!"

After Rockstar INXS & Dancing with the Stars proved that one could actually have a somewhat dignified results show, it's insulting that American Idol continues its exercise in excess and humiliation. I'm seriously considering boycotting all AI result shows this season - I didn't watch the one last night and don't feel like I missed anything. I can just as easily come on this thread after the show is over and check out who got eliminated (of course, that means someone will have to take a hit for the team and actually watch the godawful thing so they can post the results in this thread, but I'm sure someone will be willing to make that sacrafice  )

Not surprised by Stevie, nor Bobby. There were much worse than both Becky and Patrick. All I have to say is they have been given one more week of AI. There is maybe one position that will be open for the final six for both the girls and guys and five people fighting for it. They need to bring it we already no who the pretenders are but there are three of each that are on the bubble. this could get interesting.

I think the loser should have to sing a different song. Maybe off a preselection list for losers that they all rehearse. That way the fans who did like them can hear them once more and those who didn't at least don't have to suffer through the same song again.
