I don't find J.D. any more calculating than Marty, actually. I know this will generate hate mail because eveyone loves Marty and thinks he is such a nice guy, but I think he is game playing as well. When J.D. got Pretty Vegas, Marty's comment was was something like, "wow, I wish I could sing trees three times on national t.v.", "well done", said with a slight grin on his face. When Marty was asked something about J.D. coming into the one recording session cold and without knowing the INXS song, he was reluctant to say anything bad and commented, well, J.D. seems to know what he is doing. I think Marty may have come into this without being that calculating, but I think it is game on with him now. Mig is the only one who I think is playing no games, he is truly a nice guy, but hey, and yes this is sad, . . . nice guys never win.
