I totally think it was all set up for one AJ and one PB to be left till last, and I totally think they wanted Adam to be the one because he was rich. I also think they edited it so that we would think he was going to win then stick it to us with Jason in the end for some odd reason (so we'd watch average joe 2???)....it sure got people mad!
First off, the disclaimer:
"Participants may have consulted with producers regarding their choices and decisions"
What is that supposed to mean? and which participant is making decisions?...hmmm...doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that _someone_ is being 'advised'
Second, the premise:
Nevermind that the promos were well, promoting the average joe, the SHOW is named Average Joe. We spend all this time getting to know all these special guys, root for them, and love some of them too. (except for zach, which i still don't understand why people don't like him...)
Third, the TWIST:
Three generic model types...we are obviously going to hate them. They have come to try to steal our *hopefully* genuine 'see's what's inside' heroine.
Lastly, editing:
I'm sorry but they made Adam look like such a great guy compared to Jason. Or maybe Adam just has a nicer personality, I don't know. They didn't really get into Jason like they did with Adam, and I don't know if it was because he wasn't on as long, or they didn't want us to like him. I really think they did this with Zach. I think they 'advised' her to kick his ass off after showing 30 seconds of 3 videotapes, with him being a bigmouth. (which by the way adam was too...???) She probably picked Jason for real, but they edited it all up so we would only see him as a shallow pretty boy, and Adam as the poor hero who lost the girl.
Maybe Adam financed the whole thing as one big lonely hearts ad so he could meet women who felt sorry for him.
Maybe not, but someone has to start some conspiracy theories here...
