like most people, i wish adam would have been chosen...but, i can't say i really blame melana. i'm an average joe myself, and i gotta say, that if i had to take to an exotic island (cue 70s porn guitar now), either an extremely hot chick, or a plain chick with a super personality -i'd choose the hottie! i mean, assuming of course that she meets some basic (and i mean BASIC) personality requirements (ie. she remembers my name, doesn't steal from me, that kind of thing). that's not to say "miss personality" won't win out in the end, i just don't think its surprising to see looks take a lead at the beginning. i don't think you can blame a person for thinking with their gonads, when trying to pick between two people they've really only known for a short while, and have only been on a few dates with. why would melana choose anyone other than whoever she was most physically attracted to? personality may go a long way, but it takes time. given the short time frame, i think melana did what 95% of us would have done, given the same situation. two cents.
