Racers, I shouldn't have to keep telling people this, but here it is again: Brazillians speak Portuguese. I realise that this is the only Portuguese-speaking country in a continent full of Spanish-speaking countries, but for crying out loud! Do you watch this show? Nick and Starr! You're the first team to arrive. You win a trip for two from foonergnome. Or possibly Travelocity, who is our sponsor, in case you were somehow unaware of that. Hey! Did you know that Terence and Sarah hate you because you didn't listen to them about that cab? Well, now you do.

Ken and Tina: Now, did Ken cheat on Tina? I'm sure that was mentioned briefly, though not repeatedly. Over and over. Tina appears to be getting you back by nagging, Ken.

Terence and Sarah: Terence, I thought you were a runner. I find it hilarious that you asked Sarah to slow down because she kept lapping you. Maybe you're just not a very good runner? Also? Way to whine, pal. Can't wait to see you at a food challenge.

Kelly and Christie: So we labelled you guys "Divorcees". It was more fun than "Friends" or even "Best Friends". Hope that's OK with you.

Toni and Dallas, Starr is a brazen hussy. Be very careful.

Andrew and Dan, not too impressive a start, but at least you weren't last.

Aja and Ty: this is karma getting you back for using the carpool lane in LA. For shame.

Anthony and Stephanie, I get the feeling that Stephanie is focussed more on marriage than Racing. I could be wrong...

Marisa and Brooke, perhaps as the Race progresses, you'll have the opportunity to use your looks to your advantage or whatever.

Anita and Arthur, you're the last team to arrive. I'm sorry to tell you you been eliminated from the Race. I guess that means Viper will have to tag along with someone else now. Well, that's OK, you can go back to your calm bees after a lovely long stay in Sequesterville. Enjoy those margaritas!
