"the age theory- linda?"
In all five previous first votes (S1,2,3), the first woman out was either the first or second oldest in that tribe.
1-sonja (tagi) oldest
2-ramona (pagong) 2nd oldest (gretchen, oldest was next female out)
3-debb (kucha) oldest
4-maralyn (ogakor)oldest
5-diane (boran) 2nd oldest
6-?
there were 2 tribal males booted out first - S1- BB (age 64) and Kel, a young strong male who's loss probably caused the nice run of IC victories by the other tribe. i don't think the kel memory is lost on the current tribes (see keeping Clarence around for a few more episodes).

this weeks theme is the division between the ages, and the 20 somethings seem to have a stronger alliance then the 40's, and know importance of alliances. teresa is playing the tina role, flying below the radar so far, and carl and frank have not really bonded with linda. the 20's seem to dislike franks drill sergant attitude, and the probable upcoming silas/ teresa tiff will probably put the rest of the 20's behind silas. "whos zoomin who?" silas is zooming the old timers.

so who's out? linda is the oldest but a great mountain climber. teresa is second oldest, but a marathoner. teresa has a bit more of a bond with the youngsters.

the blood challenge should be interesting. linda loves "mother africa", but if she has something to do with a loss in the "masai tradition" - that might be the nail in the coffin.

1. "RE: the age theory- linda?"
Your point seems to be that the first woman voted out "in all five previous first votes" was the oldest or second-oldest in the group -- BUT in two of the previous five first-votes, a male was voted out (BB and Kel), not a woman. So, we cannot use the first-woman-out reasoning from past Survivor history as a sure-fire way of knowing who will go tonight.

That IS an interesting point brought up about Linda and the blood-drinking competition. For all she's spouted out about Mother Africa and respect for the land, what if she had something to do with a Samburu loss in the IC because of whatever problems she had about drinking blood? The other tribemates, in that situation, might lose respect for her after all she's talked about being in touch with Mother Africa and give her the boot.

However, we have seen no indication to date that this scenario could play out, so cannot make any predictions based on that.

"What's wrong with her?"
"Oh, it's gonna blow up, dude... in 5 minutes, dude. It's gonna hit the (bleep) ceiling."
"It is?"
"Oh yeah." (maniacal laughter)
