LAST EDITED ON 05-24-05 AT 07:37 PM (EST) Edited to say: I'm a bit slow....Only buy through TicketMaster or directly from the box office at the venue... I am so disgusted. If you want to spend $80 you can sit behind the stage (probably in a hole), But: if you have 200 or 300 or 400+ dollars you can actually get a seat facing the front of the stage! Some tickets are $670! How are people supposed to afford tickets or even bring a child? Is there another way to buy tickets I'm not aware of? I can't imagine any show being worth that kind of money.

I just looked on TicketMaster at ticket prices for several of the large venues (LA-Staples Center,Detroit, etc...) and a few small ones (Orlando, Worcester, Ma, Portland, Me...). All ticket prices for all of the seats were less than $50.00.
You might want to try getting your tickets directly from the venue or by going through TicketMaster.

OOPS! I'm an idiot! When you google "American Idol Tour tickets" I guess it shows resellers who are making an s-load of money. Unless you specifically search TicketMaster for a specific venue you can be misled...(if your brain is fuzzy like mine at the time..) Sorry for the confusion. (But that still doesn't change the fact that some of the best seats are selling for $500!)
