Ok fellow AI addicts... I was SOOOO ANGRY last nite when Paula was "coaching" Vonzell!! Come on, she KNEW Vonzell had a rough day & then when she BOMBED (which you all should agree) she pulls the sympathy card. COME ON STOP THE DRAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She had a rough 1st song... why did she feel that it was necessary 2 pull that out?? She cries on stage & talks about what a bad day she had & how much she misses her family,I am sure that is the general feelings backstage! Get over yourself, you SCREWED up -- take it like a woman! What Paula did by helping to pull out that sympathy was alot like Corey Clarke is claming.. told him what to sing, wear, & say.. well she did the same by asking her a "scripted" or a question, you know she knew the answer in advance. (IMO) She wanted America 2 see that side of Vonzell that way people wouldn't hold her responisble for the LOUSY job she did on her 1st song & 2 b honest.. I think she struggled thru the 2nd also. And still get enough votes 2 stay on the show. AaAAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH I really was mad, if u can't tell. That is just my opinion & we all are entitled to it, so forgive me if i seem that I am on the my soapbox!!!!!

Wow... I'm just not cynical enough to believe Vonzell's emotional "breakdown" was scripted. Perhaps I'm a little naive but I really believe she was upset about something which caused her off key performance. The judges picked up on it because they know she's consistently good. At this point in the competition, the people who vote, are going to stick by their choices no matter what happens. The race to the finish is really dependent on how many fans will actually pick up the phone and vote or who will send a text message and vote. I strictly vote for Vonzell now, no matter what happpens. I used to split my votes between a few contestants but now, I'm soley voting for Vonzell no matter how she performs from here on out.

I agree with you that Vonzel's crying was genuine. I think she was just feeling overwhelmed. Some nights she is right on and others she is off just like the other contestants. I read on this websight that she may have heard a child that met her through the make a wish foundation had died that day. I also read the rumor that her father was disgnosed with cancer. Even if these are not the true reasons I think the fact that she creid is fine. She is only human. As for any merit to the Corey Clark allegations, I think he is full of it. He knew no tv show would cover his new cd unless some scandal or sensationalism accompanied it.

Carrie was on a radio program this morning, and she said that they were all just exhausted and that Vonzell just had a bit of a meltdown. Carrie said that she had the same kind of meltdown after the show was over, she just held on longer than Vonzell did.
